Sorabh 100% agree with you, u cannot just slow down to make your 50 or 100. Especially in T20. Nishant Bhai said that earlier old players also used to do it but that was in tests and odi, that also should not be the case and most players don't do that now but it was slightly okay in tests and odi because overall impact of taking 10-15 extra balls is less in those formats compared to t20. In T20 10-15 balls can literally change the whole game. The shorter the format becomes, impact of each ball becomes so much more. And It was so evident Gill slowed down, it was not that he was not able to hit but he was not even trying to hit. He was taking singles and playing all the shots along the ground in death overs. You can't do that specially in this format and that too in the last phase of the innings.

And he said - that's not how we play cricket, hit a 6.
