    Amazing show

It’s like hearing my story all over again from 2010 . Going through the same drug addiction, to losing my little brother from suicide. Like Calum we were super close, and WAS IN the same dark head space after he passed. But talking about it helped in ways I never would have imagined, and the gym. The gym was my saving grace. That’s why I’ve always said Jay, and being apart of the team saved my life.
I always say reach out to the ones you love, even if they seem fine. Don’t let that smile fool you.

Great interview, guys! I'll be honest, I went through an 8 year stretch of rough depression, and I drank a ton of alcohol in an attempt not to deal with it. I just hit 1 year sober right after my 34th birthday, and I feel amazing. I know it was hard for him to be vulnerable here, but I got a lot out of it, and it reminded me I'm headed in the right direction. Much respect for him sharing his story! Sorry for the loss of your brother... you and your family are in my prayers.

This resonated with me as someone who had 2 surgeries due to an out of gym accident and gave up on the gym because I knew I could never get back what I once had so felt there was no point. Only now that I have started exercising and working out again have I realized that you can still enjoy it with limitations and be the best version of yourself.
The gym has also always been my escape.

Such a good interview. Have been on top of my game and pissed it all away due to addiction as well and am currently on the rise back up. Appreciate Callum sharing his rise, fall and rise again. Thank you.

some people just have everything going for them to be successful (genetics) in this industry. However, with all that has happened to Calum, it just proves that it isn't easy for anyone. Life events are unexpected and how you deal with it says a lot about your character. In the past and present day, I get the sense that Calum is a very humbled person. I suspect it had a lot to do with his upbringing and structured family/friends environment. I just hope that he doesn't venture into the politics like Arnold which, in my opinion, ruined all that he worked for his entire life.
