Thanks for the kind words Vintage! I’m trying man. Obviously learned a lot and took notes from your work. Just trying to create my own unique style. Only thing missing is the viewership. We’ll keep trying. Thanks for cruising by and dropping a comment! It’s really appreciated 🍻
@@VilasSheldon and next year if you were born 1984 lots of big movies and music started from a nightmare on elm street to Ghostbusters karate kid to band aid do they know its Christmas time to night court to etc...
1983 was a GREAT year for some of the BEST movies of the decade! LOVE the old HBO introduction! Including some of my VERY favorites: 🙂 1. "Return of the Jedi" 2. "National Lampoon's Vacation" 3. "A Christmas Story" 🎄 4. "Christine" 🔥 5. "BMX Bandits" at 1:57 🚴🚴♂🚴♀ 6. "The Dead Zone" at 2:25 7. "Risky Business" ***Not a movie, but "Mickey's Christmas Carol" at 3:33 is one of my top 3 favorite Christmas cartoons!
@@dadrand0m the risks they took and the way they didn’t hold back on everything made those movies not only special but more realistic in terms on how people actually talked and acted. It was real, people talk shit lol
I love it a job well done dude I especially love how you added that HBO Feature presention promo on there too since that's where I watched all of these films and many more on as a child of the 1980's👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁
Hello. Thanks for the video. Also thanks for the special thanks ;) It was a pleasure to watch. I'm impressed by the amount of movies you were able to include in this video. I gave you some rather obscure suggestions for the video and it's thrilling to see them included. I'm hoping that they weren't hard to find and that you liked those movies (if you had a time to watch them). Somehow I kinda figured that the song for the video will be the immortal "What a feeling" , it just seemed right. I didn't expect "Eyes without a face" , but you combined those 2 songs beautifully. 1983 was indeed a great year and I'm happy for you that it's your birth year. Keep up the good work , but don't hurry. Take your time and enjoy every moment. Thank you and see you next time !
You did mention a couple of films you wanted to see included. I had never seen Under Fire or Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. Watched them both and I liked them a lot. Under Fire did remind me of the real murder of ABC reporter back in the day. That scene with Gene Hackman looked just like the real one. Mr. Lawrence's scene of David Bowie getting buried was pretty crazy looking. This is one of the reasons I like asking for suggestions. We all have different tastes in films but I love discovering new films that I've never seen before. I played around with many different songs, What A Feeling was the best fit. My actual first pick was 99 Luffballlons but that song got instantly blocked, tested Photograph by Def Leppard, it didn't flow as well. We'll see what videos come next in the future. Hopefully we can keep it 80s or just jump around decades for a little bit. Hope to see you again!
@@VilasSheldon Hello. Thanks for the reply. I'm happy that you liked the movies I mentioned. Once again thanks for including them. As for the song I kinda figured that " What a feeling" will be the main song of the video since it was a HUGE hit song from HUGE movie hit from 1983. I did love your previous song choices from past years , especially 1982 because I didn't knew those songs and it was great to discover them ("Only time will tell" and "Vacation"). Your other candidates for this video were also great , shame about the copyright stuff. As for your next videos I can't wait regardless what those will be. See you next time !
Make sure when you revisit some of these films, to have plenty of beer with you! It enhances the viewing experience! 🍻🍻 Also, Gorky Park was a good film. I saw it all.
Stick around and subscribe! The films of 1984 was completed yesterday! Just waiting to feel better (sick) so I can record a friendly message at the end of the montage. Hopefully it will be uploaded Friday! It came out 🔥🔥 you’ll love your year!
Thanks for the kudos! 1984 is super stacked with legendary films. I gotta revisit a lot of movies. I would say sometime in the summer. Right now I’m working on a different themed 80s video then I’m off of vacation for a while. Subscribe and stay tuned!

From one Filmmaker to another ❤ Kudos to both of you
I love how the montage ends with Scarface's dead body
"I am a Jedi, like my father before me."
I really love the 80's movies! I was very lucky to be born in the early 80's. Those 80's and 90's movies are much better than today of movies.
I agree!
Fond memories: Eight or nine years old, and was allowed to see Bod and Doug McKenzie's Strange Brew in theatres.
06 kid here, it feels like a bygone dream but it dosent have to be if we follow the principles and ideas of the time
09 kid here and my 2010’s were filled up with those movies from the 80’s and the 90’s
You know what occurred to me 1983 & 1987 are the only years a Friday The 13th movies didn’t come out during the decade.
Loved this video!!!!!!!!
Thank you for watching!!
We had the best times growing up.

Long live the 80s they will never die.
True
Scarface was a prelude to Miami Vice and later on it was a love letter to GTA VC.
So glad I grew up in the best decade ❤

80s kid here, really loved this. Great work.
Thank you and welcome to the party!!
Krull is such an underrated movie! I LOVED that movie when i was a kid. The 80s in general might be the greatest decade for movie.
I loved Krull when I was a kid as well. It’s pure fun 80s fantasy
@@VilasSheldon the 80s saw more risks taken with movies. This was before cg and special effects were obtainable for everyone. It paid off.
