So if the PCM is constantly monitoring the battery state of charge and notes the battery SOC when the engine was shut down, will putting a maintenance charger on the battery confuse or affect the PCM?
Guys I have a 2004 Mazda Axela. My battery light came on while driving. Did a voltage test on it found out that the alternator is not charging the battery. Did a code test, got this code P2503, charging system voltage low. Did further testing then found out that two pins in the PCM is sending the wrong volts to the alternator🤷🏽♂️
make sense? not really, ...... it would be a lot better if you could explain how pcm control voltage and monitor amps rather than just talking as if you are reading from book.drawing a schematic and even pointing to schematic would be helpful or its too much to ask.look how the other explain and teach other subject and get some idea like scannerdanner and pinhole auto,Weber.
Hi Ghazanfar - Thanks for watching and commenting. We understand! This video was shot during a class. So it was like you said - the people attending had schematics. Also, it's one of 5 videos in the series, so it gets clearer when you see the series. Check back with us - more on the way. Thanks again for commenting.
Ok, so I understand how this system works... is there any way to bypass the system for electrical upgrades? Or a way to reprogram the system to accommodate electrical upgrades?
These videos are EXTREMELY informative thank you!

12.30.21. @ 5:23 Silver has the best conductance, Gold does not corrode.

Route the add on grounds through the amp clamp
