Seems a bit harsh. In 2018 I was forced to spend four hours in the train station there (because, you know, Deutsche Bahn) and frankly, it was one of the more comfy german train stations to spend time in.

A very accurate depiction of germany, you could have also added Pirmasens to the Fallout 4 meme. It's literally the Detroid of germany, a town built for around 70.000 people in which only 40 - 45.000 people actually live, once the shoe main manufacturer of germany, now there are only the headquarters of some small factorys left. The town with the lowest life expectency and highest depression rate in the entire country and not to forget, the highest in debt town in germany too. It was also a sad moment for the city, when the US army left in the late 80s/ early 90s.
Oh je ich hab noch nie von dieser Stadt gehört ...😅 Das sagt bestimmt auch einiges über mich , aber bestimmt auch viel über diesen Ort ^^
I can guarantee you, that 90% of the German population have never heard of this town, including myself

I don't know much about Germany, but I like the fact that people from "Essen" like food... Because I think Essen is literally the verb in German for "Eat".
