Thanks Subrata Chowdhury. In 50s as a child I listened jhan Jhan Payalia from my father late PK Chowdhury at Jodhpur. His guru were Pt Bhishma Dev Bedi and Pt Mahadev Prasad ji. However he had sought permission from Ustad Faiyaz khan Sahib to sing his this famous bandish and so he sang this occasionally on stage
Can any one care to upload the Jugalbandi, and their last concert in Calcutta in mid seventies, of Ustad Ghulam Rassool, age 91, on Harmonium and Ustad Ahmed Jan Thirakwa, age 93, on Tabla when they played, on request, Raag Nat Behag? After the programme, old timers commented that they never heard a Raag Nat Behag recital so close to Ustad Faiyaz Khan.
No comments about such famous Artist,God Allah Bless ed him👍🙏
