    These drills when watched have an almost Zen like quality to them. Imagine all the blood sweat and tears that go into such a precise and demanding drill! Bayonets are fixed gentlemen...

    Very nice video. With one exception and it wasn't your fault. Hey Mr. Under Armor a$$hat, stay the hell out of the way of the pros. Excellent production otherwise. We say them two days ago at The National Museum of The Marine Corp. Tremendous group of young men. Thanks for posting. Now, on to 8th and I for the Friday night performance!

      well, uhhh you can. the precision? yeah, I definitely saw that in the Air Force Drill. I also looked at some Norwegian Drill.Blew my mind. Don't get me wrong, I have the highest respect for these Marines, but they aren't the only ones. The silent drill in particular though. your right. Only guy on earth that can do this that well.

    I was on my high schools air force jrotc armed x b team and when your first learning the spins that you have to do it looks easy but when you try it is actually hard at first until you get the hang of it. I was a cadet chief master sergeant last year and I can still do a lot of those tosses and rifle spinning.

      At 4:32 is the Meatgrinder. Each Marine goes under several months of training before admitted. Nobody wants to be decapitated.

    The Marines flow is so much better. I like they use a standard platoon. They maintain military bearing throughout. No speeding up or goofy formations and they utilize standard uniforms.

    Honestly this is the only one that looks professional to me, all the other branches are doing stuff like I see the highschools do, but this one looks different, cleaner I guess ya could say.

    • @PNSHDSako
      @PNSHDSako 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see tons of high schools doing the same stuff that they're doing here. It isn't hard.

    • @Jordanpwnz702
      @Jordanpwnz702 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      None of the highschools in my area do anything like this, they all throw their rifles as high as they can and stuff like that, i just said this looks better.

    What happened to the NHSDTC videos??

    • @TheSomeDrill
      @TheSomeDrill  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The National High School Drill Team Championship videos have NOT been taken down as they were with previous channels. Sports Network International had contacted me directly and very professionally asked if I remove them on my own accord. To my surprise the saving grace that kept this channel from disappearing was the professionalism it brought to drill and more specifically the "Drill is Forever" montage video I uploaded a little while ago.
      I also DON'T want to move away from the JROTC world, but I am more than happy to introduce the world of ceremonial teams representing there four respective branches of service. I've never had over 15k views or 200 subscribers in the past so this could be a new door opening. I want to thank everyone that watched, practiced along with, and drew inspiration from my NHSDTC videos. I hope to pick this up again when time permits.
