I've always loved aircrafts since i was 6 years old. I've collected posters, magazines, pictures,.... but the F-14 is just something els. it just looks different, better and cooler

Fun fact.
Unlike modern gen aircraft, the F14 does not go full afterburner on launch, as it would outrun the catapult.

Actually the F14A DID to go to full afterburner on the catapult shot since they used the Pratt & Whitney TF-30 engines it's only the later variants of the F14 (B/D models) that didn't, they were equipped with the General Electric F110 engines

This isn't why, they still frequently made afterburner cat shots even with the B and D models, the difference is that they had enough power to not need to hit burner every single time. i.e, it was a fuel saving measure. Why multiply your fuel consumption when dry thrust is enough to launch?

It was mostly a no-no due to the asymmetric and adverse yaw reaction that a failed engine on launch would have.

generally, I use CapCut for cutting and laying out the parts, and I use Adobe After Effects & Premier Pro for any touch-ups or specialization! This video was entirely made using capcut tho
