Wonderful video! It's amazing how vacuum cleaners have evolved over the years!

My mum had this vacuum and she swore by it and the tools were really good and easy to use.

Omg! I remember these well. My dad was in the RAF and in every married quarter you got certain things supplied, especially if you were overseas deployed. We had variants of this Electrolux cleaner with tools and they were good! Then they upgraded a bit to the twin turbo model(you got a replacement once the older ones had stopped working), had a burgundy one and white one later on!!
Funny the things we remember but they were great machines, much better then my dyson, I’d have one anyway!

The head has 3 options the 2 as you said but if you hold the button down it does stitch off the brush.

Off topic: nice socks as well! At least if you wear coloured socks with contrasting soles it makes things look less busy. Even plain white with contrasting coloured soles at least if the bottoms are grey the dirt doesn’t show as much.

He matches his socks to the vacuum. They were worn for the video then removed.

I'm amazed it lasted an entire month as-is even in an unrestored state (or did you tune up the motor?) Most vacuums I get wouldn't run more than 5 mins without crapping out because they haven't been touched in decades or were on their last legs even before they were shoved aside.

It's the modern, sleek, Applesque, 21st century version of the clunky multifunctional Kirby!!!!! Now why didn't Kirby think of this?

The Vorwerk seems like a complicated piece of machinery to me. 😟
Leave it to later and take the dogs for a walk instead. 🙂🐕
I can see another holiday coming up soon.
