My daughter was 5lbs when she came home from the hospital and she was in pre-mee clothes for at least 6wks! It was crazy! Let Emma get the diapers and be as involved as possible! If the boys are crying and Emma needs you tend to Emma's needs first(within reason of the boys crying level?) Emma will remember your attention more than the boys will! One on one "date's " with Emma are key right now for both you and Justin! Get her something special, a book, toy, stuffed animal etc.
Also ask people if they come over to see the babies and bring gifts to also bring something small for Emma. You can tell her its cause she graduated to big sister. Another thing is a good idea is to choose 2 outfits that you think the boys could wear and have her decide what ones to wear. Thar way she has a feeling she does some thing. I don't have kids but had godsons and was heavily involved with 2 of the 3 kids. This was some of the things I did with them.

Emma will adapt more and more as time goes on. My son was 2 when my twin girls were born. By the time they were 4 months old and moving a lot more...my son was obsessed with them 🙂

Emma is so good with speaking!!! I'm shocked, she's so good now and when she started saying the boys names I CRIED shes so sweet, she's gonna be an amazing big sis💜
What helped my daughter when I brought my son home was including her like y’all are doing but also I made it a point to have her sit and “read” a story to baby brother at night to make her think she was helping with bedtime with him. It made her feel so special and so important. She was two so I mean she couldn’t really read to him and she helped me pick out his clothes to wear and give him a bath. She loved helping with everything. I just made sure I didn’t discourage her from helping do anything that way she always felt included.

Welcome to the world Asher ❤️& Rueben❤️ My son was born 2wks early and had lung issues (still does 17yrs later) and he was a single pregnancy so y’all are so blessed both boys didn’t have to stay in the nursery or worse the NICU! When I had my second child my first was 15 months old and lots of cuddle time and reassuring words to them helps a lot!!! Like saying good job and Thank you for helping and lots of extra I love yous having patience and not getting on to them a whole lot will help her adjust to them and not be as jealous as well so it’s a great thing. I used to redirect and distract method with my oldest so if he was acting out I’d tell him to go get mommy something or bring baby a diaper his whole mood would change because he would be distracted long enough to calm down
Beautiful little family. Emma is very gentle with her brothers, which is so super cute. As for Beau, it’s almost like a repeat when you brought Emma home. He just knows how to be calm and gentle. I also noticed while you were in the living area with Emma at the swings, Beau was guarding his new little brothers. He was definately sent to you to bless you through your loss and gains in life. 😊🌸👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻😇🌈🐶🐾😺🙏🏻

When my brother was born and I was 3 my parents gave me a "big sister party" which was super awesome. I got some new clothes for my dolls and a little cake. I took my role as big sister very seriously, and read books to my brother and put him in a laundry basket to pretend we were in a boat 😂 we have always been best friends!!

Yes after my mum brought my sister and I home, my older sister was very suspicious of women with babies. When we had guests with babies the first thing she did was telling them that they had to take their babies with them when they left
Emma and Beau are soooo good with the twins! Emma is gentle and so accepting of the new babies and Beau senses that mommy has new babies, and wants to be around them. The first meeting went awesome.

My son was 19 months old when I had my daughter, we did exactly what you're doing just included him in everything even if it was something small. We also bought him a pair of special shoes and told him they were from the baby because he was now needing to take steps to be a big brother. They are 4 and 3 now and are the best of friends. Watching their relationship grow has been the best. Well done to you guys I think your smashing it. Making me so broody for another baby! All the best from England x
You’re doing great by including Emma and making sure to spend time with just her. Honestly, that’s pretty much the best you can do. You have to let yourself heal and take care of those new babies who need you. Emma will inevitably get jealous even if she isn’t right now. It’s never the same and it’s never easy. I have 3 kids, but they were all singletons. Surprisingly, my oldest (3.5) is the most jealous and no one expected that. But he definitely loves to feel like he’s helping. My almost 2 year old could care less, but he’s the hardest to make understand not to be rough with the baby. My baby is 6.5 weeks old. But we are already in a pretty decent groove of being used to it. Hang in there!
Absolutely awesome. Emma did well. So did Beau. He's very gentle. In a day or 2 you will see a big change in her. She's absolutely going to be very helpful & loving. Ty for sharing.

Sometimes they just look alittle yellow especially bc we are watching on video and sunlight doesnt help lol. If they needed it..it would be some sort of a "jaundice" blanket thing they would use at home

Care Bear Definitely!! The size of head and nose's is what I go by. They're pretty easy right away to tell apart! Some twins I can look at for month's, and it's still hard to tell em apart!!!!
Emma was so sweet with Asher and Ruben! I agree with keeping her involved however you can! Grabbing diapers, picking the twins outfits, giving them kisses when they're sad, picking their swaddle for the day, etc.
Also when my parents first brought me home my older brother smacked me in the face and when they brought my little brother home I said “can god take him back please?” so I’d say by comparison Emma is doing great 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You’re doing great by including Emma and making sure to spend time with just her. Honestly, that’s pretty much the best you can do. You have to let yourself heal and take care of those new babies who need you. Emma will inevitably get jealous even if she isn’t right now. It’s never the same and it’s never easy. I have 3 kids, but they were all singletons. Surprisingly, my oldest (3.5) is the most jealous and no one expected that. But he definitely loves to feel like he’s helping. My almost 2 year old could care less, but he’s the hardest to make understand not to be rough with the baby. My baby is 6.5 weeks old. But we are already in a pretty decent groove of being used to it. Hang in there!

Absolutely awesome. Emma did well. So did Beau. He's very gentle. In a day or 2 you will see a big change in her. She's absolutely going to be very helpful & loving. Ty for sharing.

Sometimes they just look alittle yellow especially bc we are watching on video and sunlight doesnt help lol. If they needed it..it would be some sort of a "jaundice" blanket thing they would use at home

I think Reuben has a darker skin tone with more of a orange or yellow undertone and Asher has more of a pink skin tone with like a blush undertone

I think Reuben was the one that had some jaundice and had to go under the lights for awhile so that could be why.

Care Bear Definitely!! The size of head and nose's is what I go by. They're pretty easy right away to tell apart! Some twins I can look at for month's, and it's still hard to tell em apart!!!!
Emma was so sweet with Asher and Ruben! I agree with keeping her involved however you can! Grabbing diapers, picking the twins outfits, giving them kisses when they're sad, picking their swaddle for the day, etc.
Also when my parents first brought me home my older brother smacked me in the face and when they brought my little brother home I said “can god take him back please?” so I’d say by comparison Emma is doing great 🤣🤣🤣🤣
