I have a sad story lol I recently bought a 2014 Shelby GT 500 with 6,800 miles on it confirmed. I know the owner son well I had to replace several things like the rear bumper stop were dry rotted am the isolators no big deal. I was installing lowering springs i changed all the fluids. Then I did the belts since they were original i get them on and start the car i start seeing smoke. I turn off the car and I find the accessory belt idler pulley sitting crooked. It's the pulley over the supercharger pulley tensioner the bearing fell apart and it damage the post the pulley sits on and of course it's attached to the timing cover. The bearings had rust on them. Only a corner of the post was shaved off. I bought the a bumper to bumper warranty for it. But I used jb weld to fix the shaved part by using a razor blade to putty it on then took the old bearing sleeve slide it on so it was a perfect circle. I let it dry for a bit and then bolted on the new pulley. I will let it sit over night so I know it's solid. What is funny i ran across others with the same pulley going bad. But now I am going to change all the pulleys. I have no luck and thank God I am a skilled mechanic. Otherwise I would have to let the dealership work on it. I really don't trust them to many Horror stories. The one time they did warranty work on one of my gt they could not get the tailpipes back into the correct position. I had to show the tech. Lol

@@DownShifting76 I am 58 been building and street racing back in the day. I have owned several mustang & BMW m3. I am actually building a engine for my 68 amc amx. I drove all those cars all year round in snow and rain. I always switch tires to the best performance all season tires. I laugh at people who don't drive them and run home if they see a dark cloud. As exotic cars like Ferrari needs to be driven and driven hard or things don't run right. I think the worst thing for a muscle car or any car is to be a garage queen. The other thing that pisses me off is guys bragging that their cars never seen the rain thinking it will get them more money when they sell it. I always ask how can you prove it. Never get a answer lol
