Your shopping segments always crack me up! I think the mariachi music is also pretty funny whenever you use it, I don’t know what it is about it. Inventory is something I struggle with in this game so much. You do have LOTS of common armor/weapons, trinkets, and other weird random stuff you can sell, though, haha! Oh, VERY THRILLED to hear that you won’t sell the infernal iron… I’ll admit that my pulse rate did increase when you acted like you might consider it! Eek! I feel that to avoid or leave out the routine of it is somehow….false? There’s joy in the mundane no? We have avoided alchemy for this reason so far….perhaps a whole outing in the laboratory?? Hmmm. Ah Shads…..what a spirit. I wonder how this Illithid bent will work out?
He actually does both, as the creator of our visual records and the overseer of our “levels” so to speak. I quite like the phrase too - to “bake a superior scene” - sounds like the natural activity of the most popular people at social engagements.
G'Afternoon. Starry's Duel Wielder ability that you picked will let him wield a pair of Rapiers for a nice boost over his swords. Wyll will have 1 that you could roguishly nab. You also have an enchanted shortsword unused I believe. A +1 enchanted shortsword is roughly as good as a plain rapier (while still being "light"). You should be able to arm both your rogues to the teeth now. I notice you're lacking a bit in the use of magic. Mostly because of lack of full rests which is mainly how you recover spells. Shorts rests are great for HP but the long rests with supplies are still needed for magic. Also, although magic missile is great, actual level 2 spells are often better than upcasting magic missile for a meagre +1 bolt. Reminder that gale can learn new spells from scrolls, and with sufficient gold available, you can go shopping for scrolls for him to learn from. Be a little careful with dialogue choices and bonuses - I noticed you using the Cat's Grace/Owl's Wisdom/(etc) spell a couple of times for dice rolls. This is a level 2 spell that uses a level 2 spell slot - these dialog options will use spell slots, scrolls and abilities as necessary without making this very clear. This was another reason you were short on magic for the fight. This is quite a useful spell that will give you "advantage" on rolls for a certain ability e.g. DEX, and it lasts until long rest, but as a concentration spell if you cast another concentration spell like guidance it will be cancelled, so needs a bit of care/planning to get the best use from it. On that note there isn't really any reason to STOP concentrating on a spell, it doesn't cost anything to continue. Gale also has an "Arcane Recovery" ability that can be used outside of battle. I believe that will let him recover 1 Level 2 spell or 2 Level 1 spells currently. Recharges after a full rest. Oh and if you take Wyll out, he'll have enough XP to level up to level 4 immediately, XP is mostly party wide. Picking Agonizing Blast at level 2 is mandatory, it boosts the attack that he uses most of the time. I fully sympathise with wanting to roll with a regular team of 4, I played that way too, I just thought I'd give you a heads up. Looks like you have lots of interesting things in front of you. There's the Halsin story to continue, Auntie Ethel and Mayrina to return to, the Giant spider and the book, and there's also a whole area to the North that you haven't even touched yet (beware of some dangers that you aren't quite ready for in that direction, but there are things you can do there too, being careful). Not sure why the goblins automatically attacked when you entered, but it lead you to taking out one the leaders - congrats! In the PC version, you can select items from other people and use them (like scrolls and potions) on your turn in combat. Also when not all people are in the start of combat, you can select other party members to get in their actions and then it puts them in combat order. I'm not sure how this is done using console commands. You are on the right track! This place has ladders and doors and bridges to have fun with. I like the taking out the scaffolding on the last goblin - I had not seen that breakable piece before. FYI, every time that Shads uses the enhance ability in conversation, it uses one of her spell slots. And then if she uses guidance, it breaks concentration of enhance ability and you loose that ability.

Was fun though....on the using other items from The Team....we did have a moment where something belonging to Shads was used by Dilberry the Pickles.....I can't recall what it was as we are currently in the midst of...well...making a surprise for Shads and Stari......revealed soon. It was something to do with a sharing of all bits and bobs from what I remember. On the PC version thingy......Rauschmann stole all the console boxes and they are still in his room, even though he isn't.....there at the moment. 😕 We have the WHOLE of Faerun on a computer.......I just like the grippy connected feel of a controller though..... yes the scaffolding moment....we thought it was going to be a whole second battle.......we were pretty tired by then..... Yes concentration spells....I noticed that Shads will continue to concentrate unless one directs her otherwise and thank you for the tips regarding these things.... If you've not found Scratch the friendly dog yet, he is a bit north east of the blighted village near the river and his dead human will speak with you. I hope this is a bit more helpful.
Oh wonderful! I’m glad. It’s a small thing to pronounce a name right. Particularly when the name is one the named enjoys. On the speak to the dead talent - you’ll see we worked it out eventually…..in a roundabout go-back-to-camp-and-then-find……well, you’ll have seen.

A tip for your spellcasters: in order to use better equipment, such as heavier armor, you cam either use a feature (feat) to use heavier armor. Or, my personal favorite, I tend to give both Gale and Wyll at least one level of fighter to make them a tad sturdier. P.S. A bit of fun for the camp, if you have enough alcohol, you can long rest with ONLY alcohol. It's a fun little achievement for the game. Cheers 🥂
