Not to mention he could employ some tricks or tactics, and he is a phenomenal endgame player. It's like saying you could win against Magnus with queen odds. If that is too much, maybe just rook or bishop/knight odds. Yes, probably, you can win. But there's a chance you'll mess up somewhere in the opening or middlegame.

Regarding the cropping of the clocks, Levy is always REALLY adept at making the overlay look nice. It was a huge draw for me when I first started viewing
The trap at 5:16 is quite nice, you get a bishop for two pawns, but black will have a hard time defending everything because the h file is open for the rook to attack. Also, the queen, the queenside knight, and the other bishop can jump in. It won't give black too much advantage in general. (Of course white can also play this)

Hey! DolasF here, GG. Thanks for playing, it was an amazing day of chess for me, I got 2 highest rated wins so far, against 1977 and 1772, crossed 1600 and then I got to play You! Yeah, I messed up my line, I suppose those infamous nerves are real XD. But in spite of that, the game was still very instructive, engine told me I should have pushed f6, or f5 much, much earlier, it even says I could claim the advantage on move 13 with sacking a rook on f3. In other words, be braver, no "anticipatory" Kh8s and things like that. It's a common problem for me, I hope next time I come back stronger.

Yeah. Yesterday I got on a massive losing streak on blitz, lost like 55 or something rating. I kept getting increasingly angry and felt myself playing worse and worse. But you know what, I closed my computer, calmed down, went for a walk, ate some food, and I came back and recovered every single point of elo.
Yeah i have those days sometimes. At that point I just stop playing for the day and go do something else or practice tactics if I'm still craving chess
Yeah i recently had that lost 100 ratings blitz. Then decided maybe its the time control so played rapids and gained 150 elo. Now back to blitz and im climbing up again. Feelsgoodman

It's weird that you're still having quite some echo with that furniture Levy. Do you keep your room or bathroom door open while you record? Maybe try scattering some pillows where we can't see them.
An untreated room (ie. no sound control) will usually sound bad. I think he avoided by having tiny rooms in the past but a big room like this is gonna create big problems. He's gotta put in something to absorb the sound.
The way I see it, you should start believing in your tactical ability, it's absolutely superb. Also should stop believing in your openings, listen to what Hikaru says about them.
Not gonna lie, it was really irritating hearing Levy call Black's play inaccurate in that French game. Up until Qd8, (Qa5+ was the theoretical continuation) his opponent was playing the top recommended moves in the position, and the eval was 0.0. Black had essentially equalized after Qa5+, and White had no advantage whatsoever. In fact Anish Giri recommended to play cxd4 at that exact moment his opponent did in his chessable course on the French, and to go Nh6 instead of Ne7, but both moves are perfectly playable.
