You might already know this, but there is a way to do kazuya's reflector "in place" and (in my opinion) with less risk of a missinput. Tap the control stick back and the Cstick forward with the same timing as a Crouch Dash. Then input forward on the control stick and the A botton at the same time. Kazuya should step back then reflect. There's a video on it somewhere here on youtube though I can't remember exactly what is was called. It was about kazuya techs or something. This character is demanding; good work Riddles👍

Idk if you're talking about connectivity or the input delay, but the mod that Ridds mentioned at the start actually reduces the input delay to 1 frame, I think.
But yeah, if you don't have the resources to get a modded switch, then online is cheeks

Literally the only time Kazuya can actually reflect the anvil is if it’s on a block, which is only one of *dozens* of scenarios you can come across with the anvil in the Steve matchup

The way he was talking about not being able to beat Acola gives a bit of insight into what happened at Genesis. I think his mental was already shaky going into it all. Sometimes saying he'd win the whole thing, other times saying things like that. Just needs to tap into that 100% focus and confidence mode that he showed at Big House and he'll win again for sure 💪

Seems kind of shitty to use the input adjuster on quickplay when theres a mod by the original creators of the mod for specifically arena play, as to not instantly upset nintendo about cheating on quickplay. Which would lead to a potential system wide online ban on anyone using the adjuster.

yes but top players seem to have adapted to the playstyle to a good extent, same with top players facing kazuya. now it's up to Steve and kazuya mains to rebound from that in the meta
Not nearly as much as he used to be since people learned mu. Still a threat because of Onin and Acola tho
Onin and Acola are the only Steve players left who have a chance to win tournaments outright.
@@donslyuckus More people need to realize Kazuya is not as much of a gamebreaking threat as they think. Kazuya has less results than any Steve. Even as both characters improve Kazuya has a lot more counterplay.
Still probably a top 1 character, but he’s fallen more in line with the other main trio of Joker, Aegis, and Pika instead of looking like the runaway best in the game. It’s hard to say whether he’s going to go up or down from here, but I don’t think he’s going to end up as broken as we all thought. Still a very good character though.
Riddles is like "YOU CAN DO THAT FROM A DOWN THROW?"... does he know what his character can do from a down throw?

You need to practice mega man. He destroys steve walls with fair and leaf shield and metal blade, pellets, and crash bomb can be really good to pressure from a distance. Not to mention his up smash risk-free hard knuckle over the wall

@@notdoingcoke He was saying that Acola is a better Steve player. Which is true. Acola has far more tournament results with Steve than WhyDo or any other Steve does currently. So he was saying that he wouldn't do well against Acola at the upcoming major. Which would be Genesis at the time of that stream. I do not see the diss. He was literally just stating his opinion on how well he would do using the facts.
