Joe Hisaishi - Summer (Cateen arr.) - Piano Tutorial || Synthesia

University will be starting soon, so I expect that soon I'll probably be uploading even less than I already am. I was considering going on a transcription rampage to catch up on a few of the Animenz uploads while I have time, but it's difficult for me to sit down for hours at a time working on videos nowadays. However, this is not to say I'll stop uploading forever :)
This video will likely not be as widely appreciated as my Animenz transcriptions, but it's probably my most ambitious one yet. Cateen's performance had some troublesome camera angles, and many of the chords were a nightmare to figure out. Putting extra care into the dynamics to try and capture the warmth and softness of the performance also took quite a while. It's not perfect, but definitely a lot better than the dynamics in my Animenz transcriptions lol.

Basically they're quite ugly because of the multiple tempo changes in each measure (same reason why I don't even give them out on patreon). Hope you understand :)

Great job at figuring out all the jazz voicings! I find Cateen's arrangement very difficult to transcribe because of his complex chord voicings.
