Im old lol almost 64, i have never used a fish finder. But it is if you can afford it. As far as the last video, yes you helped the family, i cant imagin the shock you felt. Keep your eyes on God and talk with him. Your channel will grow.

Dang bro I miss my lifetime kayak wish I didn’t sell it but I had to because I was on kidney dialysis in my doctor was telling me not carry heavy stuff that was back in 2019 know that I got a kidney transplant in 2021 I got me a boat I haven’t take it out that much only when my nephew come down I take it but can’t Waite for march in Kent I’ll be good for trout fishing and end of April I’ll be that trout opening day all lakes will be open for trouts hey some day I’ll bump into you out there fishing…
Having a fish finder is not cheating it's smart to have if you want to find fish when fishing.
I have the Lifetime teton pro 116 pro kayak. It's a nice kayak and you can stand in it. I'm not a skinny person but still comfortable in it. You should definitely check it out at dicks sporting goods. I also have a fish finder on it works great. Having a fish finder isn't cheating. Even tho you can find fish doesn't always mean they are willing to bite what you throw at them.
