I'm grateful that people do crafting videos for us all to enjoy and happy when new episodes show up. Extra happy if it has been a long time since their last one and I've assumed that they aren't making videos anymore.
Crafting videos have helped me so much too... (I'm a visual learner, and videos helped me learn both crochet and continental knitting). So happy when I find a video with a new stitch!
Good afternoon Cathy! Myself I’m very grateful for every day and all of the opportunities I’ve been given. And very happy to have a wonderful family to share life with. Best cheesy Christmas movie for me is Deck the Halls. Ontario here too! We are between London and Windsor.
Oh my, you are between London and Windsor??? I spent a bit of time living in Windsor/Essex area. And mostly I grew up rural, in Chatham-Kent! All of that before my husband and I moved to the Toronto area... Isn't that a small world!!
When I was younger, my husband and I both grew up a short drive from Chatham. (We only have one relative who lives in the area now, as many have moved to the city).
I just went outside and a beautiful yellow and black Butterfly greeted me, so I am very grateful for where I live and all the wonderful nature around me. Thanks for a happy Sunday.❤😊😊😊
Butterflies are one of my favorite things.... and I am so happy when I see them. I grew up rurally. Although I've adapted to city living, I sometimes/often miss life surrounded by nature!
I'm so grateful and happy to be a part of this yarny community. I love seeing your guys joy when you open your gifts. How fitting that you drew a card about movies when we were already talking about movies.
It was very lucky that card came up! I think there are only 2 in there about movies, and they came out one after another... (I know nothing about chance, but that was weird and amazingly lucky!)
I LOVE the movie Elf! I was so happy when I found a pattern for a Jovie-like hat years ago. I’m so grateful to be able to participate in your Christmas in July along with Diane 😊
Oh! I recently changed my TH-cam handle. I hope that doesn’t mess you up on keeping track of names on comments. I was listed as FelM…or maybe just Fel, I already forgot 😂
I’m grateful for being a part of some crafty communities mostly via TH-cam. It is such a great place for lots of people to be happy and find happiness within the communities x
I agree 100%. Over ten years ago, I learned to crochet by following online tutorials.... more recently, I discovered the amazing online communities (maybe about two years ago)? It is wonderful to find so much friendship and caring -- so much more than tutorials here. :-)
Totally agree with you... The best conversations, for me are a lot about crochet/knitting & maybe a bit about plants (and after I get a bit more practice, maybe a bit of diamond painting/art LOL)
Hello Cathy, I'm so grateful the you and Diane doing xmas in July. I'm also very happy that I can follow both of you and celebrate this with you guys ❤❤❤. Thank you so much 🎉
Cathy I am happy to see you enjoying your Christmas in July collaboration with Diane and like others, grateful to have discovered both of your channels. I just love the old movie, Pollyanna. Some might consider it cheesy, but it always makes me smile and they did celebrate 4th of July in it…I think! Well, it was a celebration of some sort, lol…haven’t seen it in a while.
Hi Debbie! I am grateful that you are here too. It is a joy to open something that someone wrapped while thinking of me.... And a joy to give wrapped gifts to a friend (although in all honesty, I do not know, on specific days, what Diane will be opening... I'm as surprised during her videos as everyone else LOL)
That yarn was the colour and fibre that I might have chosen for myself! This yarn will perhaps be to make something for me (to remember the Christmas in July)... Diane knows me well...
I am happy and grateful that you both are doing Christmas in July. I think its a great idea that you posted the list for all to see. Cheesy holiday movies, Four Christmases, The Family Stone, National Lampoon Christmas Vacation, Home Alone series. While not a real holiday Groundhog Day has to make the list.
Hi Cathy. I’m grateful that I can knit and crochet, and happy that I can watch videos to see what all the other creators are making. So many great ideas out there!
Isn't it amazing, so many beautiful things being knit & crocheted... and two people can start with the same pattern and make equally beautiful and very different finished objects... Love that!
Hi There! Are you the famous person multitasking on Diane's most recent video? I need to learn how you stay focused on winning and knitting at the same time LOL
I am grateful and happy getting to know both you and Diane. This has been fun. I love the movie Heidi with Shirley Temple also the Little Princess with Shirley Temple.
I totally agree that this has been so much fun! I will add your movie selections to the favorite movies list. Thank you so much for the contributions. :-)
to be grateful and happy are two precious and lucky ways to feel about being alive in this world - but for people who are not able to feel either, due to sadness or loss, then that is understandable too - crochet and knitting can be ways to nurture the spirit
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. My heart goes out to those feeling sadness and great loss. As both of those are also part of my life journey. I honour the many ways that crochet and knitting is part of our lives.
Hello!! I am happy to be getting to know you better and so very grateful to be learning about things you enjoy craft wise. Cheesy holiday movie, i was thinking Elf just as you said it . 😂 Enjoy!
Hi! I'm so happy and grateful Diane intoduced me to your channel. I'm going to have to visit The Lovely Knitting store next time I'm in Toronto. Thank you!
Whenever you have a chance to go to Lovely Knitting, you might want to check the clearance room (sometimes there are nice yarns in there). And their selection of knitting needles is beyond what I have seen anywhere else.
I am so grateful for the things in my life that make me happy....my family, my dogs, my hobbies and crafty youtube creators who have Christmas in July contests! I would have to say that ALL the Hallmark Christmas movies would count as cheesy. 🤪
Wonderful! I hope that you someday get some pacosso yarn. (I also have never tried it either. Ordering from Ice Yarn is on my list of things that I would like to do...)
The address is 126 Martin Ross Avenue, North York, Toronto. (There is a clearance room where everything is $5.00. And the selection in the regular yarns area is beautiful!)
