When adding midi drums, is it advisable to edit separately the snare, cymbals, toms and crash to make the midi drums sound more realistic, is that even achievable?

I recommend creating a separate midi track for each drum and cymbal (I will be doing this in part 3 of this pop song tutorial). I also have a pro midi drum tutorial on my channel that will show you exactly how to do this in greater detail that you might like to watch...
