I deleted all of my dating apps about 2 months ago. I was obsessed with them and decided one day those are the wrong resources to try to meet the good type of people I want to meet. It's nothing but games and entertainment for women it seems.
Smart decision. Meet someone in person. I met my boyfriend in person at a beach and again at a county fair where I asked him out. It's a bit of a long-distance relationship (I live in New Hampshire, he lives in Pennsylvania) but the fact we met in person and meet up about once a month means we have the real life chemistry that just can't be replicated through social media (yes, dating apps are social media)
@@neihomai8 still haven't been on any of them. Done for good. I also realize I don't need anyone in my life to make me happy. I am actually happy with myself and I think that will draw someone to me naturally
Many women feel the same about men on the apps. They don't bother to even try and hold a conversation with you when you're trying to get to know them, they're dry, and at the end of the day they want your snapchat or instagram to try and get photos of you. The reality is that I think dating apps attract a certain kind of person that's just not in it for the right reasons, and when you as a person who is just trying to connect with and meet someone cool interacts with one of those people, your perception of the entire gender just gets muddied. So many men get frustrated with women as a species and so many women get frustrated with men as a species because of bad interactions on dating apps, and we end up feeling so dejected by the time we decide to delete the dating apps---I've been a victim of this as well. We have to just stop normalizing it and start talking to people irl, giving us a chance to see who we connect with, giving love a chance. Chin up man, not all women are jerks, some of us want to get out there and make genuine connections as well, just like you : )
Honestly, for someone who has no experience with texting girls. I just treat hinge as some sort of training ground for when the time comes that I do manage to get with someone I like
I wonder how many dudes have ended it because of dating apps. I mean, I have had some “success,” but I have also been done bad. Being down bad from a dating app is really psychologically damaging I feel.
if you are the wrong size, wrong color, wrong height. it doesnt matter what kind of person you are. you will be rejected. thats how it works. dating apps are scams for most men except a small minority
On dating apps, the typical ratio of men to women is around 3:1. So, if I walked into a lounge with 100 people on a Saturday night and saw that 75 of them were men, I’d probably decide to leave
Instead of mindlessly scrolling on dating apps, I was running 16 km today. Just do something productive instead that benefits your health, mentality & finances.
Very informative video! I met up with multiple girls on dating apps, but they ended up just being one night stands and a lot of them were like jumping around from guy to guy. There are some people who have found fulfilling relationships from online dating apps, but when it comes to the top three that you listed there, majority of them use it for hook ups. So if you want a serious relationship, just have a good intuition don’t smash the first or second time you see them, and take things slow if you want a lasting relationship.
My dating life is nonexistent. The apps doesn’t work and wherever I go out, still no luck At this point, I accepted how my life is rather I’m happy or not
I was on Hinge from January 2022 to September 2022. Never again man. It was so pointless. Hinge 100% uses the same algorithm that Tinder does. In fact, I came out more jaded about finding love than before I went in.
This idea that dating apps are for hook ups have no evidence when it comes to straight women. There’s experiments including my own where it takes FAR more matches just to get a yes to requesting a hook up. Who knows how many would actually show up
You can get laid on tinder but you gotta lower your standards a bit, the funny thing is the last girl I met on there broke up with me most likely because she matched with some more attractive guy who will just pump and dump which in the end saved me from having to break up with her so yeah win win
I agree with the OP, i had some hookups with apps, 3 fat girls, 1 had a scar on her face, 2 were decent looking, one of them lasted 1yr. All of that in a 2 years span, could get more if don’t vetted single moms
The old ways are best. Develop actual hobbies, meet likeminded people, do good for your community, make friends. Stop trying to live through internet services, they do not have your best interests at heart. It is not in their interests to help you succeed, because then you don't need them anymore.
What’s strange is they changed somewhere down the line. Can confirm that around 2016 they were at their peak it was honestly decent for most dudes. Nowadays most guys have nothing but bad things to say.
On Reddit I ran into people accusing me of being a horrible person because they were successful on dating apps while I wasn't. One said "dating apps don't work for YOU because you're an asshole"
Don’t listen to any of that, it’s all a fat load of crap. You could be the most genuine, kind man a woman could talk to on that app while being respectful and offering a genuine date with them, and they’ll still blow it up in your face and make it seem like their choices are good or well thought out when they’d rather pick the “chad that’s 6’4” to pump and dump them instead. It’s utterly all a false illusion to make us feel like shit while we’re doing our best to treat everybody with respect and dignity.
@@rainydayz6429 Oh who would say that on a dating app where your value depends on your face and body people will be rejecting you because you don’t meet their standards, i mean, it is kinda obvious, same happens with ugly and out of shape women, even if you are a 7/10 there is this idea that they will pull better, even out of their league because there is so many options. It is on both sides of the coin and it is reasonable, you do not know many things about the other person other than their looks, so halo effect takes place stronger than ever.
They absolutely suck now, but back in the day 2011-2017ish it was like going to the grocery store. I was putting up Steph Curry numbers. Everything was free! You didn't have to pay for basic things. POF was a gold mine!

The sad reality of dating apps is that you have to have ALL of them and treat it as a part time job.. You will meet people, but without a doubt its far harder than it used to be. They are just going to judge the persons looks anyways, so I don’t know why they’re making them fill out an application form on their first message? 😂 I lucked out and met my wife on POF 5 years ago ❤
The whole "women have to message first or else the match disappears in 24 hrs" thing is really stupid and I've lost some great matches because of this as a result, but overall Bumble still has way better and has more quality women than Tinder.

Many people don't realize how dangerous dating apps really are. I'm gay, but from my own experience I can recommend that everyone not download or register on a single dating app. It's best to stay away from such things.
Hopefully, you're not considering yourself ugly or undatable. You're a handsome young guy with your whole future ahead. I feel bad for young people now. In the old days, boys and girls as early middle school were going to movies on dates. We had a small town theatre and it was total craziness and kinda scary even for a teen boy to meet up with a girl and sit together. Of course everyone had friends in tow, but that was added background noise. Now with social media, young people don't seem to do anything in person. Even my 2 teen daughters go with groups of same sex friends to school dances and prom type activities. Kind of depressing to witness even as a parent.
They work but there is a formula to them. Many people just abuse the apps instead of using them to your benefit. Me and my siblings found our loves on dating apps.

As a non passing trans woman, it’s insanely stressful to meet people in person. That being said, dating apps are such slimy exploitative businesses and it’s absolutely soul crushing having to use them.
Tinder is a hook up app probably alway been, if you’re a guy you’re gonna have a hard time on bumble because if a girl likes you it’s gonna be pretty rare for her to send since she is the one who has the message first, so that’s why I stick with Hinge.
Dating these days is an agreement between two (or more) people to share affection until you get bored. So, even if the apps succeeded in getting you a match, the meta for the dating game itself is really bad.
It sucks that dating apps don't work because there's many people (like myself) who don't have any other options for meeting the opposite sex, and when we try any of the other options that are supposed to exist, they don't work either, so we end up being incels.
Good thing I don't use dating apps (or their predecessor, dating sites). I met my boyfriend the old-fashioned way, at the beach last summer, and we met again at a county fair and I asked him out and he said yes, best decision I ever made. We felt the in person chemistry you can't replicate with social media (that's what dating apps are, social media).
The sad reality of dating apps is that (most) people who are worth dating don't use apps to find one. You might get extremely lucky and find a normal girl on there, but did I mention luck? I met up with a girl from a dating app once. The most normal girl I've met on one, but she was still a stupid 20 year college student who wanted me to buy her alcohol and kept blowing off our dates for her "friends" I'm a good looking dude! I don't get stood up (Well, I was good looking back then. Maybe not now lol)
I met my boyfriend on Hinge 💜 he’s the sweetest man I’ve ever been with in my life and we’re almost to our one year anniversary Also, do not be under my comment being negative bc these apps didn’t work out for YOU. Keep your hatefulness to yourself 😂 it’s sad wishing downfall on somebody else’s relationship.
I been using apps for 6 years and had two girlfriends that lasted 1 year who I wasn't crazy about. My sister finds many men who she wants to marry then a week later breaks up with them. That's how it goes. Don't get married.
I was convinced by a coworker to download tinder after a rough breakup I had. I met two nut jobs on there, one was cheating on his girlfriend of 7 yrs with me I later found out but I also reconnected with my friend from high school I had a huge crush on. We have now been together 5 years and I’ve only loved him more. Idk maybe it’s just cause I already knew him lol but I personally recommend it.
Doesn't help that depending on where you live, alternative ways to meet people are in short supply. Im in Tacoma for example and there isn't really much here. In my area i legit put in hours of work researching and trying new things in an attempt to broaden my horizons but everything you can do is so antisocial anymore in the sense that its something that you really have to go into it with people, but its not good for meeting new people from a dating perspective or otherwise. Eg bowling or going to a museum. Just demoralizing
sadly it is kind of true. you can still get something without paying but once you play you get such an unfair advantage that you feel obligated to play. it's a pay to win game almost
Dating is so f*cking hard. I think I missed the day when they taught this bullshit in school, because I don’t understand why everyone is dating and only I stand there scared and confused. I genuinely don’t understand how this all works. And I’ll probably die alone.

It's a bit of a long-distance relationship (I live in New Hampshire, he lives in Pennsylvania) but the fact we met in person and meet up about once a month means we have the real life chemistry that just can't be replicated through social media (yes, dating apps are social media)
how are you with dating now? can you give us an update? i am worried apps are just a waste of time too
@@neihomai8 still haven't been on any of them.
You should upload more often, your commentary content is solid.

Women on Tinder : I don't answer to people saying "Hi how are you"
Women on Bumble : "Sup"
I havent ever been on dating apps, been together 21 years.
Did dating apps exist 21 years ago?
@Camrynns all they had was aol chatrooms 😂
When people weren’t paranoid or on edge 24/7.
the algo needs this fr
Too depressed, jaded and demoralised. I know downloading one of these apps again is going destroy my self esteem.
Bro you're a gem, such an authentic and honest, genuin and hilarious creator. Keep it up i appreciate you!
Much love
Very informative video! I met up with multiple girls on dating apps, but they ended up just being one night stands and a lot of them were like jumping around from guy to guy. There are some people who have found fulfilling relationships from online dating apps, but when it comes to the top three that you listed there, majority of them use it for hook ups. So if you want a serious relationship, just have a good intuition don’t smash the first or second time you see them, and take things slow if you want a lasting relationship.
My dating life is nonexistent. The apps doesn’t work and wherever I go out, still no luck
At this point, I accepted how my life is rather I’m happy or not
500 dollars per month is sickening
I was on Hinge from January 2022 to September 2022. Never again man. It was so pointless. Hinge 100% uses the same algorithm that Tinder does. In fact, I came out more jaded about finding love than before I went in.
If you're spending 6 bands on dating sites you're a SIMP.
lol yea with that kind of money you should be able to attract some kind of women without apps. or just pay for play for much cheaper.
Beta male too lol
Or a Plankton
I have given up on dating apps… my experience is that people there are not serious about anything genuine anymore
I've deleted tinder 3 times
You sure about that? Even if someone likes you you’ll never match with them most likely. Tinder is a complete waste of time.
@@renjiaow3742 I dunno maybe I just got lucky with that one sort of, but yeah tinders a complete waste of time for the most part
I agree with the OP, i had some hookups with apps, 3 fat girls, 1 had a scar on her face, 2 were decent looking, one of them lasted 1yr. All of that in a 2 years span, could get more if don’t vetted single moms
I just discovered your channel not even an hour ago, and I can already tell that you're gonna be someone watch nonstop
Dating apps kinda work just depends on you and the person you’re interacting
100% dude
Facts , literally met my fiancé on one
facts and it only works for a few people....
If you can get to one. That's the key. The apps do their part to prevent it and our own habits between genders of getting lost doesn't help.
@@isaiahfrancis7371You're a chad.
The old ways are best. Develop actual hobbies, meet likeminded people, do good for your community, make friends. Stop trying to live through internet services, they do not have your best interests at heart. It is not in their interests to help you succeed, because then you don't need them anymore.
These dating apps are designed to keep you single. How else are they gonna make money off lonely folks?
Bro! When you said next Joey Swole victim I started dying 😭😭
I’ve never been on a dating app. I refuse to get into that stuff.
Personally, the best advice I was ever given to meet people, including women is find a hobby that you like and meet people organically that way
Man.. getting two dates cancelled this week by two different guys.. it’s really affecting my mood. I feel stupid, hopeless and unlovable
Love has always found a way to avoid me. To me love is a social construct
Ur everywhere
What’s strange is they changed somewhere down the line. Can confirm that around 2016 they were at their peak it was honestly decent for most dudes. Nowadays most guys have nothing but bad things to say.
On Reddit I ran into people accusing me of being a horrible person because they were successful on dating apps while I wasn't.
One said "dating apps don't work for YOU because you're an asshole"
"Asshole" = person that doesn't have good enough genetics
Ignore the noise.
It’s so cool to hear the opinion of a young dude (20 y/o) on these modern topics with me being 40+ bravo 👏🏾 channel.
I paid $500 on tinder per month and it was the same people who liked me before 😔💔
$500?! wtf
You’re crazy bro…
lol i felt bad about paying $40/month for premium. No way i could spend $500
Bro what?
Not even Batman could beat that info outta me
They absolutely suck now, but back in the day 2011-2017ish it was like going to the grocery store. I was putting up Steph Curry numbers. Everything was free! You didn't have to pay for basic things. POF was a gold mine!
I wish single people 'good luck' in spending all of their money, energy, emotions, etc. on lousy dating apps/websites.
If you’re single there’s nothing wrong with downloading a dating app but to sink so low to the point of paying for a subscription is just sad. Focusing in your self and getting a gym membership and taking better care of yourself goes so much farther.
True, but for some people, it's still over. Genetics triumphs all.
the top 10% of dudes get 90% of the women, in the US. alot of guys out there are invisible, since they werent born with a prettyface or an ideal physique. makes sense now why dudes are joining the passport bro movt. I never looked back once i got into it, overseas women arent nearly as shallow as physical appearance as US girls are.
@@AM-cm2kjlol that is not how attraction works. "Rizz" comes a long way when it comes to seducing women. reality is women don't care much about looks.
Does it get you romantic partners?

The sad reality of dating apps is that you have to have ALL of them and treat it as a part time job.. You will meet people, but without a doubt its far harder than it used to be. When Tinder first came out I would have a date every second week without much effort.. Now its every 3 months, like sure I'm more picky now.. but I'm spending far too much time on these apps.
It’s funny that I never get ads for dating apps but watching your videos I got one

Hinge is actually the best one. I’ve had some nice matches on there when I would use those apps in college
Lol I had best results on tindferno despite putting my T20 college on the bio of hinge, but not on the tindferno acc…
Funny bc I always hear femaIes gaslight men into saying they get no results on tindferno bc of the ratio, when the ratio is better on hinge

@@AM-cm2kj No he's right, being able to send a message first on Hinge to get them to laugh, or respond, is way easier than Tinder or bumble. Hinge is the one I get the most matches on
Nice matches but did they lead to anything?!
@@sinking1902 Hinge led to some hook ups, a couple dates and one relationship.
I always thought it was ridiculous when someone sets a minimum of 500 characters to send them a message. They are just going to judge the persons looks anyways, so I don’t know why they’re making them fill out an application form on their first message? 😂 I lucked out and met my wife on POF 5 years ago ❤
Bumble is god awful I swear, honestly if you’re a dude you should be on dating apps, seeing a female in person and shooting your shot always better
Yeah the one time you’re lucky enough for them to actually remember they have to message first they just hit you with hey
The whole "women have to message first or else the match disappears in 24 hrs" thing is really stupid and I've lost some great matches because of this as a result, but overall Bumble still has way better and has more quality women than Tinder.
I finally asked a girl in person she was giving all the signs and I got rejected, dating is just impossible for the average Joe because women have thousands to choose from

Many people don't realize how dangerous dating apps really are. I'm gay, but from my own experience I can recommend that everyone not download or register on a single dating app. It's best to stay away from such things.
Your videos are so goated bro I can’t wait to see the 1 million by your name‼️‼️
He finally dropped it woooooo, ngl these dating apps just want ya money fax. I rather spend my bread on a double cheese, large fries
They work but there is a formula to them. Many people just abuse the apps instead of using them to your benefit. Me and my siblings found our loves on dating apps.
What’s the formula?

“The sad reality of dating apps” and somehow the two ads i get are from dating apps😭
Love is pretty lit but there's many people brought onto this earth NOT because of love unlike what you said at 0:18.
6:12 bro this section reminds of me of the black mirror episode named “nosedive.” This world is getting very dystopian…
Already is man, suicide rates will skyrocket in the next 30 years for sure.
Your bf must be quite handsome for you to do that
The sad reality of dating apps is that (most) people who are worth dating don't use apps to find one. You might get extremely lucky and find a normal girl on there, but did I mention luck?
I met up with a girl from a dating app once. The most normal girl I've met on one, but she was still a stupid 20 year college student who wanted me to buy her alcohol and kept blowing off our dates for her "friends"
I'm a good looking dude! I don't get stood up

I met my boyfriend on Hinge 💜 he’s the sweetest man I’ve ever been with in my life and we’re almost to our one year anniversary
Also, do not be under my comment being negative bc these apps didn’t work out for YOU.

Im 35. I can’t truly say I’ve never been on a dating app in my life🤷🏾♂️ Not a single one.

Dating apps still work.. the problem is you HAVE to pay for premium if you are a guy. It doesn’t work any other way.
