So much resonance here. Those last few lines…so impactful, “be with me.” A beautiful recognition that this is all our true nature ever asks of us. So simple; just be with what is arising here and now. I have run from it my entire life. It’s been exhausting. Finally leaning in and finding that energy you speak of. Hallelujah! 🎉

Love the poem, so very direct but simultaneously warm and tender. I resonate very much with your take on art, it all points in the same direction even if unconsciously most of the time. Singers and writers often say very true things about life and our true nature without knowing they are doing that. Films also point to it all the time.
I'm currently getting into making short films myself. I film mostly nature scenes but I do it from the heart and from intuition. I don't tell stories really, it's more about wonder, curiosity and showing what is, visually "capturing" the isness of nature and transporting it to the viewer through editing, sound design and ambient music. I hope my films will get people out of their heads into their hearts :)

In the stillness of the night so deep,
Where shadows stir and sorrows creep,
A soul adrift in darkness’ hold,
Seeks a light, a love untold.
Through valleys shadowed by despair,
A heart weighed down, beyond repair,
Wanders lost, in search of grace,
In the void of time and space.
Unseen, a hand extends with care,
A beacon bright in dark’s affair,
Love unconditioned, pure and true,
Acceptance found, in me, in you.
No judgments cast, nor harsh demands,
A gentle touch, a clasp of hands,
In the bleakest night, a glow appears,
A balm to soothe, to quell the fears.
For in the depth of shadow’s reign,
Love emerges, breaks the chain,
Unconditional, it sets us free,
In acceptance, we’re meant to be.
So when the dark night claims the soul,
And doubts and fears exact their toll,
Remember love’s unyielding light,
Acceptance endless, shining bright.
