Wow...while difficulty-wise, Mel's scenario is on the easier side, story-wise it definitely might be best to play her last. Definitely after Shiki's at least.
I wasn't expecting to like her, Mel's character tropes aren't ones I typically like so much, but she won me over by the end.
The sheer immortality of my characters here is achieved via resurrection & recovery gems combined with the Buddha's Remains OOPARTs. Absolutely clowns on most of this game, but watch out for enemies who can ignore or remove trigger gems. I expect some of the harder bosses and harder versions of bosses are going to circumvent this protective layer easily.
Pity I wasn't able to utilize Mel's unique All Arts gem, which seems like the weapon version of Natalie's unique gem (as well as some unique arts.)

I have really enjoyed watching these videos and I'm planning on playing through this game myself soon.
I'm looking forward to watching this one too, the moment TH-cam stops throttling the bandwidth on it into unwatchability.
