Thank you for sharing the practical (budget/personal finance) to the personal (coming out). All helpful as I too am just entering my 50s and my partner and I are navigating similar issues as a couple. We certainly need more generational diversity on TH-cam and you both are at the forefront. Rich and Kevin, I very much appreciate watching your videos. Being an older guy similar in age to you, I really like hearing your perspective on various topics. I enjoy watching other young couples on TH-cam sharing their life experiences, but sad to say, sometimes it causes me to lament all the things I missed as a young guy, since I was older when I finally reconciled my religious beliefs and accepted who I really was. For me, it is so much easier to relate to you guys, and your shared stories seem so very real to me. (Especially since you don't have elaborate music and a lot of edited recordings!) I feel like I'm sitting across from you, listening to you guys in the living room as a friend. Thanks so much for sharing!

We are trying to start getting paid also. lol it seems like it will take forever before we have 4,000 view time and we are at 703 subscribers now.
@@richandkevin6101 We were able to get the view time long before we got 1000 subscribers. I think our watch hours were at 10,000 by the time we finally got the 1000th sub.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. We are trying to get there. View time is very little but subscribers we have 707. So if there is any pointers how to get there fast please let us know

When my husband and I first got together we had a joint acct for mortgage and household where put in equal amts. Like you we also have our private account keep for ourselves.
It has worked for 30 years for us. We also when we were buying our house we based it on one income vs double income so if one of us lost our job. We can survive. One thing that my pet peave is to pay credit card each month so it doesn’t get any interest. A lot of your ideas me and my husband used during our years together.

What do you think about marriage contracts? People in Germany tend to get one before marriage to avoid financial disputes.
Hi and thanks for asking! We believe them to be a good idea if one or both are bringing significant assets into the marriage or if there's a future inheritance that is likely. That being said some people get really offended by the idea of a prenuptial agreement and that could be a red flag that money and assets need to be talked about further. Personally, Personal Finances, Personal Income Taxes and Life Skills like how to read a lease, apply for a loan, budget your time, et cet, would all be things we believe would be helpful to everyone.
