Not sure exactly what Amanda was talking about but I heard grand solar minima…. right now we are near the peak of sunspot cycle 25 which is why we are having x class flares everyday. Ham guys love the sunspot peaks, you can talk around the world with flea power. The minimum for cycle 25 is in about 5 years out. Sunspot cycles are 11 years or so in duration. BTW this is the hottest sunspot cycle in decades, maybe since the ‘50s.
