To be fair and give credit to Mr. Ballistics, I can't imagine there to be much that could scare you once you survive a .50 BMG blowing up in your face.
When you were firing both revolvers you could see the huge difference in recoil kick. That limited edition Smith and Wesson 500 Magnum was really dancing around compared to the 350 Classic. A really fun way of doing a comparison.
When he came at that last watermelon from the side, I legit got anxious wondering how he was going to stop the flail coming back around and hitting him.

I really appreciate you making clean videos me and my granddaughter and grandson love to watch these together. My granddaughter 7 years old will come set beside me and say I’m ready to watch tuckey ballistics.
Scott, glad to see you got a John Ross .500! It is, in my opinion, the best iteration of that revolver. Its barrel twist is a fast 1 in 10, so it stabilizes any bullet weight or length, and the perfect-length 5" barrel with muzzle nut allows tuning the barrel-cylinder gap. I've loved mine!
Having the 350 legend and magnum firing so soon after each other is really interesting because you can hear the difference very obviously in the tone and volume.

Thank you so Scott, Scooter and Unicorn. I was in such a horrible mood and Scott delivered one of his funniest episodes in quite a long time. From Scooter winning $200 and celebrating with a giant bag of skittles and code red, to the action edits and the Watermelon Flail murder. All of it makes this an instant classic.
The slow mo of the peanut butter, mustard, and glue exploding was absolutely magnificent! And I love how Scott continues to find new and hilarious ways to be destructive😂 I am indeed entertained
The 350 legend is such a beautiful gun. 😮 And an interesting cartridge too. I would like to see a comparison between the legend and any S&W 500 mag in terms of penetration, energy delivery... 👍🏻
You can never go wrong with a .500 magnum! I have shot it three times and while my recoil management isn't as good as Scott's, it's still a ton of fun. As for the other guns in the video, I'd definitely want to test the compensated revolver with that rifle cartridge the most. Looks very cool and interesting.
The cylinder gap flash with those cannons is immense. I think I'm going to use that in my handgun classes to reinforce why it is so important to hold a revolver with the proper grip.
There is a mythbuster episode where they make a hand out of chicken parts, and put it close to the cylinder. It blew the chicken hand apart! I own a 454 Casull, and I almost made this mistake when I first got it.
I watch forgotten weapons for careful analysis and thoughtful commentary. I watch Kentucky Ballistics because Scott gives the basic rundown of a big and or weird/cool gun and starts blasting. This channel is a lot of fun.

Awesome video! From what I remember that John Ross S&W has a faster twist rate to better stabilize the 600-700 grain projectiles. And the reason for the muzzle nut in lieu of a compensator was to allow for a tighter cylinder gap for better velocity. And also “less” muzzle blast. Side note, I have that same .480 Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley and those are fantastic guns in a fantastic cartridge.

Scott, to quote Barney from “How I Met Your Mother,” you are absolutely “legendary!” Your enthusiasm is just so impossibly infectious! Never stop doing what you do, sir!
I like the John Ross 500. I bought 2 of them in 2014. I had one from the Performance Center earlier that was ported. The difference in the recoil is substantial. Thanks for sharing 😂
Absolutely love the John Ross 500, picked one up last year. John Ross also had some bullet designs made up that take advantage of the full cylinder length. “Matt’s bullets” sells two of his designs, a 385gn long nose and a 565gn long nose. The 565gn loaded to 60KPSI and 2.300 OAL is absolutely devastating. Will make that underwood ammo feel like a .38 special.
The unique sound of the 350 Legend and muzzle flash is amazing. It reminds me of my BFR 30-30. I thinks he would enjoy shooting one of those. Or just get a second legend and do dueling hand cannons lol. Love hand cannons Mike. I’m building one myself. Springfield Trapdoor pistol in 50-70

As both a Scotsman, and an admirer of all things equine (Particularly the magical variety): I respectfully commend your choice of battle stead at 4:27 my good lad.
I was impressed by how smooth that .350 Legend was. Firing it from a rifle they're fairly mild in terms of recoil but out of a revolver, that's pretty sweet. .500 Magnum though is, and always will be, my favorite.
Demo Matt, who was my former property owner adjacent to mine, has an awesome TH-cam channel, but Scott you hands down are the best and most accurate shooter out of all of the gun channels that I watch!
@KentuckyBallistics if you are ever bored. Shoot a full pop can thats unopened. I shake them up first just because. Use a 450 bushmaster. Federal 300gr powershock rounds. Absolutely ignites it. Been thinking about getting a go pro to see it in slow motion. What do you use for your slo motion? The go pro 11 goes up to 240pfs. Not sure if thats enough to show details like we see in your videos
I had no idea S&W made a 350 legend revolver. Seven shot and that beautiful grip. I keep finding new guns because of you Scott, unfortunately I'm to responsible to buy them all because I definitely want to 😆
I bought a 44 mag revolver just because. I'm about half the size of Scott and after 12 rounds I'm done. These were some pretty awesome shots. For the hell of it I was recording a shot with my left hand while shooting one handed with my right and I nailed a small steel target from about 50 yards out first try. Totally luck!
John Ross is well missed, wealth of knowledge and always shared his handloading wisdom. Anyways, at least in my case it appears that flexible arms, strong grip, and semi-relaxed body is the best handgun recoil tolerance combination. Have tested 350 grain .500 using 53 grain CFEblk at 2193 ft/sec out of the PC 3.5”
@@1014p when the chronograph read 2000+ for these loads, I thought it was broken until I shot a few H110 loads to confirm. I shot a few more (2169, 2158), did the math, and calculated them to be near the 60K psi proof rating for the cylinder then inspected the revolver timing, gap, etc. Never loading those again lol, they were supposed to be at about 1500 ft/sec for the 350gr, I believe it had to do with the shallow seating depth/powder combination. Even more interesting is that they were Berry’s plated bullets. Live and learn.

Best family friendly gun channel that is also making gun education fun. Thank you!
man, when you were firing both those revolvers at the end, it's crazy to see how much of a difference a compensator makes on the recoil
Scott, your energy is unmatched and I love it!! Keep the vids coming.
That's because he eats gunpowder.
Scott, to quote Barney from “How I Met Your Mother,” you are absolutely “legendary!” Your enthusiasm is just so impossibly infectious! Never stop doing what you do, sir!
Amazingly with all the weapons Scott’s handled that flail might be the most terrifying to see him wield. Wonder if it’s a cold steel flail.
Flaid it!
Flail? Mace? Chain Mace? WGAF?! We love it!
I like the John Ross 500. I bought 2 of them in 2014. I had one from the Performance Center earlier that was ported. The difference in the recoil is substantial.
Thanks for sharing 😂
Best slow mos I have ever seen on this channel...bestest...
3:40 Scott: ruger super black hawk
me: RUGER SUPER WHAT NOW
Absolutely love the John Ross 500, picked one up last year.
Yes! I use his "alley cleaner" bullet design from MP molds.
I like in the slow mo parts Scott is just doing something stupid best part of the video
The unique sound of the 350 Legend and muzzle flash is amazing. It reminds me of my BFR 30-30. I thinks he would enjoy shooting one of those. Or just get a second legend and do dueling hand cannons lol. Love hand cannons Mike. I’m building one myself. Springfield Trapdoor pistol in 50-70
Mate I only discovered your channel a few weeks back and absolutely love it😁 I am Aussie, trained and deployed with US personnel (mostly Marines) when I was a Grunt, and have never met anyone from Kentucky I don't like. Hope you are having a good New Year Bro👌👍👊
So much knowledge and entertainment in one single video. Thank you man
Everyone who hasnt liked this video needs to and the 100 people who disliked this video need to like it. This man spent nearly double the ammo to give us those glorious slo-mo shots. Thank you, Scott.
I haven't been able to see the dislikes since noobtoob updated their policy. How do you see it?
i think you can install browser extension, not sure how accurate it is though@@philipmitchener28
I like the 350 Legend best. I've been thinking about getting one myself, so seeing you featuring one was pretty cool! Thanks again, Scott!
I didn’t even knew that round existed 🤷♂️
Love those hand cannons.
14:03 Is that Deadpool?😅
10:48 is it me or does that particular Deagle sound EXACTLY like how most games and movies portray it?
Probably because most movies and games use actual deagle sounds.
Scott is a national treasure. His videos make my days so much better.
As both a Scotsman, and an admirer of all things equine (Particularly the magical variety): I respectfully commend your choice of battle stead at 4:27 my good lad.
Great video as always Scott, but question... how hard was it to do the laying down, single handed, S&W 500?
Those shooting poses have already garnered my down payment on a calendar, Scott!
@ 16:06 when you've chosen dual wield warrior as your main in World of Warcraft
That difference in recoil between the 500 & the 350 legend was insane
I was impressed by how smooth that .350 Legend was. Firing it from a rifle they're fairly mild in terms of recoil but out of a revolver, that's pretty sweet. .500 Magnum though is, and always will be, my favorite.
5:53 more medieval time weapons on the channel please!
That 350 Legend is sick AF.
Just... Wow. Love it. 🤘
Well that would be massive energy on target.

327 Federal Magnum is the Best Snub Nose Revolver Cartridge! It’s very powerful as a tiny pocket revolver and holds 6 Shots instead of 5 Shots! It also chambers many other rounds such as 32 H&R, 32 S&W, and even 32 ACP which all have much less recoil. Check it out!
You know what I want to see on this channel? A couple of trail cameras. I want to see the wildlife that comes to clean up your range for you.
Scott, please be careful with that flail. You could seriously hurt yourself if it bounces back and hits you.
I that a flail or a mace? Or is that two names for the same weapon? It made short work out of the watermelons. Lol
@@ThumperH60 It's a flail because the business end is on a chain. A mace has the striking end firmly attached to the handle like the blade of an axe.
Scott sure was in a silly mood today. Did yall see all the funny poses he did during each shot at the targets? He also managed to make that look effortless. The man has good aim.
I never knew he was a Brony🤣
A found eminence pleasure in seeing the DE .50 operate in slow motion!
You know it’s a good day when Scott posts.
The John Ross 500 magnum is my favorite. I had no idea they ever made that. Of course it's a 5" barrel too 😁
I absolutely love that 350 Legend! It’s not only beautiful, it looks like it’s fun to shoot!
And the slo-mo cuts are hilarious!! Keep up the awesome work!! Love the channel!
I love the slowmo shenanigans how its different from the regular speed.
Thank you Scott
I absolutely loved this video. Thanks Scott!
i suggest you try some of that miracle fluid OIL on your 460 rowland. actually what i like to do is soak a gun in oil, using remington spray oil....then blow out all the excess with high pressure compressed air. works GREAT.....no spots where oil is needed are missed
Ringing that steel like a liberty bell...I love it.
