Binged all your movies this weekend. You are killing it, thank you for putting these together. Can even think of how long this probably took you, so thank you for your time and efforts.
Nice content! Any chance you could move the forward camera from your chin to the top of your head? Its difficult to see the terrain b/c your tower of electronics block the view when you are sitting.
No, it would make power, audio, and control of the camera more complicated. And it wouldn't be a first person view. With the chin mount you are effectively seeing what I'm seeing.
I applaud your humanity here but maybe consider pulling over a mile down the road and calling in for help. You just don’t know the whole story with these situations. That bike and your gear may have looked mighty tempting to a bad actor. Glad it went well though. Great video!
@@MeerkatADV Thanks, thought it could be a DMD2. Did you look at the DMD2 and if so what attracted you to the Carpe Iter? Any chance you could do a video on the Carpe Iter? Thanks Ron
@@ronweidler2496 I used DMD1 up until 2021 when I got this. DMD2 wasn't doing their own devices yet so I got this through Thork Racing. Couldn't be happier, the thing just flat out works. I did an overview of it in my Utah BDR videos if you want to check it out. I don't really do gear reviews.
Thanks, I will check it out. Been using GAIA on a phone and wanted to get a dedicated GPS but not interested in Garmin. This looks like a better option. Heads up, the CaBDR doesn't appear to be running properly on TH-cam.
I enjoy watching your videos, however, what I find annoying is that I can't watch your videos without them being interrupted every 5 minutes by annoying ads. I don't know if anybody else has this issue or it's just me.
TH-cam changed how they place ads in the videos. It's quite irritating. Hopefully enough people complain that they change it back. In one of the long form videos they put 36 ad breaks in a 2 hour video. It's insane.
The footage of the ride is great but the frequency of the ads is most annoying, I prefer the forward camera. The rear facing is OK occasionally but not so often.

You probably saved 2 people’s lives that day.
I remain humbled by the challenging terrain you tackle riding solo👍
Excellent, I really enjoy these BDR documentary movies.
Thank you so much for sharing. Love your videos! Best!
I don’t do 100 degree weather. And all that armor! More power to ya! 🎉😮😂
Sweat is less expensive than a hospital stay. Just need to pack enough water to stay hydrated.
Yeah, I'd rather have the armor on if I need it. Sometimes the heat is just what you've got to deal with.
Good video!
Do you know what year the 900 Rally was that broke the frame?
No, but it's a known issue and has happened to several.
Sounds like you enjoy the Yamaha much better then the KTM …hoping to check one out at dealer soon.
Excited to ride it every single day.
@@MeerkatADV nice! My 2016 WR 250 dual sport is a little bit scary n the 215…. Hoping to upgrade
@@trevin1691 the tenere is a little bit scary off-road lol

Man the front end of the bike sure has not been a team player.
It got better, was able to play with the clickers and got it better.
Might have missed it but what time of year was this? I'm planning a ride first week of May and hope it won't be too hot yet.
Mid to late may. It'll be hot in the first two sections but after that it's normally ok.

I'm comfortable in my ability to defend myself. Otherwise I wouldn't have stopped.
What gps setup are you running on the top of the tower?
Carpe Iter

@ronweidler2496 the individual videos or the movie? What is wrong with it? All of them work just fine for me.

That doesn't sound like a Florida accent.
