I have this computer, not turn on , but getting power i can charge my cellphone using the ss usb c port ? Any idea what i need to replace or test ?
I am wondering. How sturdy is metal plate that covers the motherboard? Thinking to buy one of these and drill holes through that plate to mount nuts to it in a standard VISA mount pattern. I would then have to cut through the back plastic cover of course, but at least I could mount it at that point. But... how sturdy is that metal plate?

I have a dell Inspiron 24 3455 AIO that had black screen. Only work on
external monitor. Replaced it with a new screen but it still doesn't
work. Works only on external monitor. COuld it be an motherboard issue?
Same model and issue here, screen controllers on eBay are $5-$10, if the doesn't work I'll get another screen from there. Screen controllers is a pain to access because it's under the metal panel the motherboard is mounted on.

I'm not sure what possessed Dell to put the screws under the motherboard. The LCD could have been changed without going all the way down to the chassis like that.
my thoughts exactly. It's either lack of forethought (seems a bit unlikely considering Dell's age) or their desire to make replacement more likely with a cracked screen

My suggestion.. this is good
I have one with 8 gb ram and you need to upgrade ram on your own to improve the performance and this video helped me to see how to open it. you can see the ram slots in the middle when he opens the second cover. With 8 gb ram my ram usage was 90% with just watching youtube but now I got 16 gb and I'm good. If u wanna buy this model you have to also consider upgrading your ram on your own

parfait changer en 1h environ....part contre peut-etre pas utile de demonter la carte mere!...faut debrancher 3 cable ...1 en haut et deux cotes disque dur....et ensuite les vis autour de l'ecran indiqué LCD.....simple comme bon jour!....le plus compliqué ca va etre de reinstaller le systeme windows.
