3K...pretty high fo what looks to be a collection of well used pistols. Save up a bit more and you're getting into the new Lauro Alien... Plenty of very smooth 1911s out there as well. And only with a cardboard box?
@@acywei wow fr? Have you bought anything on classicfirearms.com yet? Cause I bought an AR15 mag like 4 days ago and they still haven't shipped it out yet smh
Start with a good 9mm singel or double action (CZ for exampel) and a lot of ammo, when there is down to the gun ammo/combo to hit the right place, then is time to invest in a very good gun. For action shooting and defence even a Glockenspiel is suffice to, there is no need for this gun besides it is a very well made gun, with the best accuracy You could buy in a high rate production gun. And yes, they took out the mags, they have always been with 2 mags.
Wow. Nice opportunity on some clean looking weapons. Had a devastating house fire some years back and sadly lost the nice weapons that I had slowly acquired over many years. 2 SKS's, 2 near mint 6.5 Carcano's ,a 303 Enfield a fairly sharp Webley pistol, a Helwan and (my favorite) a LLama .45 that was very clean (90% original blue, original grips, box, cleaning brush, manual etc.) Have since replaced only 2 long guns but affordability now is a much bigger issue and have no hand guns at all. If you ever feel you have just a "a surplus of surplus" and would like to make a fellow gun guy smile ear to ear with the gifting/bestowing of one of these great older, semi auto handguns I am definitely your man. Not choosey either, anything moderately historic, safely operable/functional and in a reasonably easily attainable caliber would be terrific and I would unashamedly sing your praises loudly for all to hear. Thanks. Keep up the good work of showing these great older historic firearms to the public. P.S. -this Swiss gun looks to be 'the cats meow' N.
I own the new P210 and can easily say that this is the most precise gun in my collection. 3k is a steal. I went to buy one but they were sold out. You get what you pay for. The new P210 is off the charts phenomenal.
I want one of these so freakin’ bad! What an amazing firearm! Then I saw the price, and my heart dropped. Then after that, I remembered I live in the Socialist Republic of Massachusetts and probably wouldn’t be able to buy one even if I had the money... It’s hard being a firearms enthusiast up here. For all of you in other states, make sure your voices are heard and keep your government serving you, the people, lest you end up like us, California, New York, now Virginia, etc.
jcodym13 I would, but unfortunately, it’s not on the Massachusetts approved firearm roster, so I’m SOL regardless. Basically, MA requires a loaded chamber indicator, a 10-lb trigger pull, a drop test for each version of the firearm (e.g. if they submit a black slide version, a stainless version would still need to be tested). We also can’t have threaded barrels or folding stocks. No magazines with greater than 10 rounds. Anything manufactured before 1994 is ok so long as it was in the state at that time. These are truly restrictive gun laws passed by our traditionally liberal government. It’s sad. This place was the birthplace of the fight against tyranny, and yet this is what we’ve become. Make sure your voice is heard or you might end up in the same boat!
Oh man, I live in PA and my heart goes out to you guys. Here in my state we don't even have waiting periods for handguns, I'm just hoping for the day we become a constitutional carry state. Anyone who wants to get away from the tyranny of state gun laws is more than welcome to live here.
Damn are they that expensive now. I own 3 of them. 1 mint military in 9mm, 1 mint commercial in 30Luger with a 9mm barrel and a refinished shooter that was mechanically perfect, had no pitting but only about 30%- finish and cracked grips glued together. Owner let it go for $250 and I had it refinished and bought new grips. These pistols are amazingly accurate and controllable. I can keep all my shots inside of a 6" Target at 100yards. The only other pistols I can do that with is a Colt Python. While these are expensive if you can afford one you won't be disappointed. Especially in good condition to mint condition. Swiss guns are beautifully machined and finished and seem to continue to climb in value.
@@454pakr these pistols are not for budget minded normal people. They are for high end military surplus collectors and they have probably sold out by now due to high demand.
Listed as "surplus" ...... lets see Webster's says "an excess of production or supply over demand." clearly at 3k these are demand over supply and oh wait the description says "these RARE Swiss pistols". So I am not really buying the "surplus" label, and while they are beautiful, undoubtedly worth the $3k and I would love to have one, this will not be a "surplus" gun in my collection......
@@ClassicFirearms good on you. If they are selling more power to you. Just not my taste. I'll save my pennies for a different shiny gun from Classic. Been happy with every purchase and all customer service from classic so far.
3k for a secondhand P210 without mags and fixed sights, no, if interested You could buy a new one for less, with 2 mags, and a warranty, the price should be not over 1k including 2 mags, and lesser if they are worn, not the slide and frame, but the barrel, they could have been shot a lot. And take the grips away, they could be worn on the invisible back strap, the firing mechanism is removeble and there is a part that often contacts the back strap, and they could both be very worn.
@@samting3694 Look i didn't buy one but they are a business. If they put a pistol up for sale and it sells out in half an hour that means the market price for that pistol was higher than the price they set. You can't really say they are overcharging . There is a finite quantity of those guns and the people that really want them are willing to pay x amount. That doesn't make them suckers.
Went to the website and was flabbergasted by the prices of everything. PSLs for twice what they were last time around. Straight pull Swiss rifles double the price of last cycle. WASRs back, 2x the price. Mausers double too. And people are saying $3000 for these surplus military pistols? Mail-order ammo to challenge stores... Who are you marketing this stuff to?Bloomberg? And I was a loyal customer in the past, going back 20 years. Did a democrat buy out the original owner?
No doubt one of the finest service pistols ever made. However they are not know for the greatest triggers (service pistol). Check out what forgotten weapons has to say about it.
We still have the P-210 (Military aid from Denmark) in the inventory- allthough they are getting phased out by Glock-17. To be honest- i never liked them, apart from being expensive to produce and high quality materials used in them- i don't see what is the "hype" about them, since they have 8 round single stack magazine, heel release and single action trigger with weird safety function of not being able to release the hammer if the magazine is not inserted. They also have no significant combat history.
Because these are the actual SIG P210's and not a cheap reproduction from SIG Sauer. That's why they're called "SIG P210" instead of "SIG Sauer P210 Target"
Do not worry... Clint is back from the "NRA Show" where we will be April 17th - April 19th.

Lol they both pulled a quarter inch after the "defined wall" before the break. Haha

Yessssss, and with a few spare mags also!!!
Why?
Should I buy a P210 or three 1911's?
