Thanks . Iam new to your channel. Iam glad Iam here now. Love how you did your video. I’ve been wondering for a while about that under the ear . Now I know because of you and thank you very much. I have mini of them.
As much as I enjoy these types of videos, they are the exact reason people run in to coin shops with their pocket change thinking they hit big. To the un-trained eye, environmental damage looks a lot like a missing clad layer.
Well, here in UK there is a coin that I guarantee 99% of people have at least one in their possession right now, a simple 20 pence coin (about the same value as an American Quarter), but a few years ago some were put into circulation with a mistake on them, nobody knows exactly how many, but it'll probably be about 10000 to 50000. Now the Royal Mint soon realised their mistake and are currently trying to buy them all back. Last time I checked they were offering about £70 each (oh, about $90). They're trading on online auction sites for a few hundred pounds each. What's the mistake you ask, well without giving too much away, ask yourself, what does every coin from every country that's ever been minted have on them, well in the UK 20p coin that's worth a hell of lot more than face value, that item is missing - - or simply not been put on (and it's nothing to do with the value)

I have this coin with a grease error. With a good 90% missing image on the reverse side. Would that add value because of its rarity?
Also it's in pretty good condition.
