I found a Georgia quarter with the clad missing on the Georgia side working the till at a McDonald's in highschool. This was back in 99 so it was a brand new quarter. I grew up around collectors and knew I had something good. I swapped it out with a quarter in my pocket and took it home. I showed it to my mom when I got home. I was ecstatic tbh. She saw it. Grabbed it. And that was the last time I touched it. Several months later would be the last time I saw it. And then it was like it never existed.
That's why I clicked on this video because I have a half clad Georgia quarter that looks exactly like you described. Either I found your quarter (years ago but still have it today) or this is a. Unknown
Wish I could've been that lucky. I found one of these Georgia quarters on the floor at work when I was dust mopping. It's just a regular quarter worth 25 cents as far as I can tell, but I really wish your mom hadn't stolen it from you like that.
You have gained another subscriber! Your presentations are so clean, and there is tons of information. I can tell the work you put in just off the slides made. You also stick to the coin in the title listed, unlike others I follow. Keep up the fantastic work!
Thank you so much, BBV! I try my best to just give the information in a clean and organized way, accessible for people who are both collectors or haven't thought about collecting previously!
I collect some coin, not a big collector though. I herd of the 1965 coin on a youtube ad and had to check my stash. I couldn't find it but found a 1999 Georgia. I watch this video and it helped a lot.
I like your videos! I’m a newb and I have Denver minted Georgia Quarter that was in pocket change. It’s interesting because it has a matte like finish but not from wearing. The details in Washington’s hair and eyes and lettering are pretty crisp, the edge is reeded but its weight on two different scales is 5.5 grams. Any thoughts?
Hey man, awesome video! I'm a new coin seller/collector. I'm wondering where do you guys sell these things? I've found some double dies and die chips. I would love to sell them.
Thanks Christian. Is there doubling on the ribbon on the reverse and the bottom left of the state outline?? Have a great weekend everyone. EIEI OH MY!!👌👍🏴☠️🇺🇸
hey serious question.. i found a 1972 s in great condition missing the vdb and as i magnified it i found the vdb but not in the usual spot is this a thing anyone else ever find anything like that?
I have one but the only problem I have is I can’t find a picture online the backside where it says wisdom justice, moderation is in gold also the letter E is misprinted u can barely see it IN GOD W TRUST. that what it looks like.
Staring at this 99 shiny quarter with a gold pinkish hue. in odly enough good condition all the lines in the hair if not more than the others I got out of my local carwash.. wonder if they are actually worth anything
I have a Georgia quarter weighing 5.4g. It has absolutely "NO" rigid edges.. instead it's completely smooth and shiny also with a two-toned color (silver and brassy look). Also the 🍑 on the back/reverse is flat and there's no texture on the leaf. either. Philadelphia mint mark... Think i got a valuable one here?
I have a 1999 Georgia quarter. color is normal but it doesn’t have side ridges and the rim is about 13 thousands thicker than a normal quarter. Do you think it worth anything $$$ ?
I have a Georgia P state quarter that is missing the E in the WE in the word WE TRUST ALSO ITS MISSING THE "T" IN THE WORD TRUST AND ITS MISSING THE "LI" IN LIBERTY AND THE "P" MINY MARK IS DOUBLED AND THERE SEEMS TO BE SLIGHT DOUBLING THREW OUT THE COIN.
Hello, if you see this comment, I just sent you an email with information about the 25-cent coin you talk about in the video. If you could contact me with a currency exchange house, I would be very grateful.
