Have you ever read (or heard of) the series of books called "Super Powereds"? If not, I highly recommend you read it; it's an amazing series by Drew Hayes and is completely free to read online. It is superhumans, but not in the Marvel/DC universe, and in my opinion the super powers mentioned in the books are so much cooler than any of the mainstream ones
