I think being in this government is a superpower that enables people to talk too much and say nothing at the same time.

One thing I know about politicians is that they will change their tone if something favours them. If the president had appointed competent men and women from parties other than Kenya Kwanza and Azimio, he would be saying something totally different. Remember, these are the same people who said that the Kenya Kwanza government is illegitimate.
The President roamed the whole country and just discovered the only competent people are found in UDA and ODM. We did not know competence is a reserve of only two political parties in Kenya. This compares only to E=MC^2. Kenyavro the world!

But there is politics in this country. Real shame that incompetents are full in that cabinet that kaluma is justifying. If this government is bad, why allow your members to join, if the intent is not to steal? Raila has been minister of energy, so is ochilo ayacko. No mijikenda has been secretary of treasury. I fully agree, understand and support Homabay township MP kaluma statements. It’s know clear that anybody from any tribe in Kenya can serve KENYA however they will resign from their party and serve the great REPUBLIC - government which is constitutionally a multiparty democracy system. It’s not a sin to be odm to be appointed cs those are Kenyans citizens too!
Like I said elsewhere, ODM is Raila, and Raila is ODM. If he stands to benefit by going to bed with the government, directly or indirectly [read via nomination of his party members to CS positions], then structures and organization of the party mean nothing to him.
On another note, CT was unusually quiet throughout the interview, save for that one question he asked towards the tail end of the interview.

To form a coalition government: 1. There must be party level resolutions by all parties to the coalition from their parliamentary groups. 2. A declaration by both parties that they are entering into a coalition. 3. Legislation enshrining the terms of the coalition in law like happened with the grand coalition government. None of that has happened. So this remains a UDA government with some ODM MP's that have been poached in their individual capacity, which is their right as Kenyan citizens appointed to serve and all the best to them. May they do the best job they can in that government.
