Ari throw a lot of ideas into a short space. Takes a few listens to get it to gel. But I really like them. Really liked the tempo slowdowns they did in that one. But yeah, they can be disorientating on a single listen. Nazare, pretty much the same, just heavier. Lots of ideas in short songs. Mio is one of the most talented new extended range vocalists around. After a break due to Mio's mental health issues the band are coming out with a new album and doing live shows again. Xanvala are fairly new (at least to me) but I enjoyed it. Especially from the first hook chorus onwards. All the vk bands have a cool way of wrong footing the listener with chaos and then just bringing in a hook driven, almost pop chorus. The second band I'd never heard before, but it was just a good solid accessible slab of metal. That was a good mix.
Nazare fan here, very underrated VK band🤘🎸🎌
Thanks for doing this bowl Brew and Brown Sugar.
