Why Did NFL Kickers Kick Barefoot?

It makes me wonder why there are not many kickers and punters and that others on special team squads are not in the HOF despite their performance?

I punted barefoot in high school i averaged 64 yrds per kick when in my senior year Michigan banned barefoot in highschool my average dropped by 15 yrds the feel was different can't explain it it just worked for me

Here's the New Kick Off Rules. if Player kicks with -
1 Barefoot = restart on 30
2 Barefoot = restart on 40
1 Barefoot (on non-kicking foot) = restart on halfway
1 Rainbow Shoelace = Match Abandoned.

I actually thought I would get a good explanation of how you don't break your foot kicking a football. But what I heard repeatedly is there is no rule against kicking barefoot a dozen times it seemed😑😑😑😑

Well they arent helping with the tackle if needed. I dont think it would be allowed now, gets foot stepped with cleat, sues NFL
