I’m glad I picked this up and happened to catch up to the anime 2 episodes before it finished because I’m reading the comments and yeah it’s easily one of the better anime’s out there but dammm the last season flopped (n season 4 dragged for me a bit too tbh) but cause of binged it all I don’t rlly feel the highs and lows as much.
ADDRESSED TO PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT SHOKUGEKI NO SOMA: If people are really saying the final season messed up the entire series because there's less focus on cooking or "rushed", think about this: If you are a chef, would you only cook? Would you not enjoy yourself in other activities? Yes, I would... And bout the rushed ending, I know a lot of people wanted to see Erina x Soma (including me) but the author did confirm that they end up together, though it wouldn't have hurt to include a picture of their OP child. This shouldn't affect your love or hate for the series. Plus the final season was plenty interesting but maybe not as much as the others. I did enjoy the concept of blue and the topics of food they had to cook. I do believe they could have done it better by not using a tournament-type cook-off and instead, maybe more distinct ways of cooking since the first tournament was in my opinion better but the season is still a 7.5/10 for me. Don't hate on this series just because you don't "love" the last season and ending... Just remember the great characters, ost, interactions, iconic moments, and why you kept through with this series till the end! Thank you shokugeki no soma!

In the manga i really appreciated how the reader could feel their bond. Thanks for that comment

Foodwars is the best anime that I have seen I have finished all 5 seasons it made me cry and laugh it was a wonderful journey it's a masterpiece I wish they would give it another season sadly they won't but who knows!
