    I love your videos! I can't wait to try and back-carry my 4 month old. I am an experienced carrier (front-carry) but never tried back carrying with my firstborn. Now I wonder: I work at a small-scale organic farm where we do everything by hand and, as I don't want to take my child to daycare yet, I want to work on the garden while back-carrying her. Is it safe to move around a lot (kneeling down etc) while back-carrying a 5 month old?

    Girl you are amazing!! I didn’t baby wear with my first 2 kids but I just had baby Aurora 3 weeks ago and she loves being wrap carried!! She’s 14 years apart from my youngest it’s a whole new ballgame...I started with the boba wraps bc my lactation nurse swore by them, they are awesome but very limited on the kinds of carries I can do... I just ordered 2 didymos woven silk and cotton wraps and a didymos sling from little zen one, so excited to try all ur videos once they get here in a few days!!! Can’t wait! Do u have any videos on how to do ring finishes with a long woven wrap? I was considering ordering some extra rings...

      yes! but most of my 'fun' finishes are with backcarries. But you can find some others on my channel here too!

    I have a 3.5 month old who is super wiggly is this a good carry for that or should i do a different one? She has pretty good head control.

      A Back Wrap Cross Carry or Secure High Back Carry might be a good option for her too! :)

    Hello! My baby is 5 months and weighs 8kgs with good head control, I have been taught this carry by a professional, but I find it very difficult to pass him over my shoulder due to his weight. What other carries might be suitable with him? I saw your other rucksack videos with the older child but I didn’t quite understand how you passed her over your shoulder.

      If your baby has good head control I'd say check out the hipscoot +rucksack. You move your child towards the back over your hip/side. Which is easier with heavier kids.

    What would be the reason for twisting at the bak as opposed to a simple X? Is one more comfy for a smaller baby?

      @@sofi99 making it easier to reach and to keep the tension in the wrap.

    How "old" was Felice here? Can I use this with my one-month-old little one? Even if she does not manage her head weight yet?

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      2 months I think. Yes this can be done before they have head control, but its more tricky to support their head well enough during the motion of moving the baby on to your back. So more practice needed I think 🍀

    Hi! I'm a first time mommy to be looking for a good safe wrap to start with. Do you have any suggestions for newborn wraps?

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you looking to start wearing your baby in the front? If you search newborn or check out the newborn playlist you can find some options. Most people start with a FWCC with a woven wrap or a frontcarry with a stretchy wrap. If you need more help you can always send me an email ❤

    Are there any back carries you can do with a stretchy wrap? I've been looking for a woven but they're well out of my price range. I have a stretchy wrap and is love to see what I can do with it besides the basic front carry.

      Depends very much on the fabric. Some brands offer 'hybrids' now, which are a good option for backcarries too. But usually stretchy wraps need 3 layers over the child's back and for a backcarry it takes some great wrapping skills to get a tight backcarry with a stretchy wrap. A wobbly, leaning or stretching child could potentially lean out of the wrap if it's not tight enough (or too stretchy).
      There are some front and hipcarries for variation (check out my popparroo with a stretchy video for example!)
      Did you check out brands like Yaro, Lolly Wovens or Luluna Slings? I can also recommend buying a preloved wrap through Facebook groups or other platforms. The second hand market has some great deals right now. Babywearing on a budget is a good facebook group to start!

    Im trying to learn to back carry but my 3month old likes to pop the seat. Any tips please

    • @Wrapyouinlove

      Try a different carry (BWCC is a nice option, you can do it without spreading the passes too..) , it helps when you make sure the bottom rail of the wrap really is tight (no hidden slack between you and your baby) and try to stand up straight when wrapping. With a carry like the BWCC or SHBC it's more about quickly finishing the carry with a legstraightener and possibly correcting / tightening afterwards :) depending on how much patience your child has.
