Today was an AMAZING day of vintage and antique shopping.
We hit a MAJOR jackpot, and found 2 of our grail items, in one store!
I was, truly, shocked to be able to find all these!
It was SUCH a fantastic shopping trip!

THE PIANO!!!!!!! 🤪
Those torpedo shaped string of beads with the ribbing are very old. We had a few strings of those passed down from my grandparents. I'm 64 now and they would have been in my father's home when he was growing up, he would be 105 now. 🎄

I love the dowel rod display the mercury beads were hanging on. That’s clever.
I thought the little paino was adorable! FYI- You cannot sell Bubble Lights in Ebay anymore and you cannot ship them because they are now considered hazardous materials. Mine were removed from EBay this year and given their warning and strike. Geesh it is near impossible to keep up. The bubble lights contain methylene chloride which is very poisonous even if absorbed through the skin. It converts to carbon monoxide inside you. Just in case you were curious.

I LOVE the piano: the artwork is fantastic! Had 3 of them, and all sold well. Trivia: You can hear one played in Seal's and Croft's song "Summer Breeze" from 1972.

The Santa made to be on top of tree or hung was in a photo of my brother when he was about 3. He passes away two years ago at the age of 74…so that Santa is old!

I have pictures of me and definitely remember a Christmas roughly 1982 or 1983 where I got a little piano like that and I can't remember the brand I guess it wasn't that brand if it was only me through the '70s because I remember it wasn't a hand-me-down toy it was new because I had to take like this little plastic film off of the keys to be able to play them and my mom or dad had written across the plastic in a marker have fun making music or something along those lines across the plastic casing over the keys but yeah seeing that little piano brought back a lot of memories LOL :-)

You need to check out Kastner Auctions, Curiosity Inc has an auction going with a lot of vintage toys in it. Also he has one of those santa treee toppers you were looking at.
Thank you for the information about the mirostar! We picked up a mirostar candolier with the gold foil sprays and red glass bulbs last month and now I know what it is! 🤗🤗
The price of glass has really gone up. And so fast as well. I guess because people are falling back in love with it. Now the clear glass a little, but not much. Are you finding that true too Michael ?
