    This video shows you how to install a steering rack and pinion on your 2005-2010 Pontiac G6. The rack and pinion assembly transforms the turning motion of your steering wheel to the push and pull motions that turn the front wheels of your vehicle, as well as adding the power assistance. If the steering rack on your vehicle is leaking, or damaged in some way, you might need to replace it entirely.
    This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

    Nobody shows the real way to pull it out ..what happened to the hydraulic aluminium houses??????? So very easy to do it without them right ??????????

    is there a preload ajustement on those steering rack? my 05’ cobalt had 2-3” of play even suspension have no freeplay i suspect its the rack
