Heater powered by vegetable oil shortening test

  • This is built out of 4" metal exhaust duct fittings and a 12w inline fan that's used to move air inside. Vegetable oil shortening is boiled down and poured into a jar and becomes a slow burning candle. The heat put off inside of the duct is transferred out the exhaust by the 4" fan. The total heat output is shown

    Instead of the metal fan a cpu fan would be better on a portable application like me im homeless so i immediately took a CPU fan those little black fans and attached it to my somar setup and only had the intake vent on the inside and Everything else out the tent and it helps alot, lately ive been uaing hanr sanitizer as a heating source along with a fan to heat my camp

    Useless...you get more heat off the fan motor than one tiny flame.
