Tip for storage in a small apartment! Use your dish washer for storing large pots and pans/ items you don’t use everyday. This is a really popular method for people in New York. You’d have to hand wash your dishes, but it gets you a little more storage!

IKEA has these pop-up kitchen islands called Vadholma and Tornviken (there may be more idk). I feel like one of those would be perfect for this space. More storage, a little seating area, and a more sectioned off kitchen.

Having a home that you feel comfortable and safe in is very important especially while pursuing your academic/professional goals! One of my number one rules to home decorating is that I only purchase what I love and not what I like. So I have a lot of favs in my home but my top three are: my plants, egg chair, and twinkle lights (all three take me to my happy place)... I’m going to purchase a new bed soon so I am hope hands down that it will become my favorite item (because getting a good nights rest is essential)🙂
Omg I had a triangular/diamond apartment that was a similar shape to yours, and it was the literal best thing ever! Especially with the big windows, while something's on the stove cooking for dinner and you can turn around and see the whole view outside at night. And the light is so great in the mornings! It will be enough space

If I don't get the job opportunity I'm going after, I'll be moving into my grandma's apartment when she moves to a different province, and if I do get the job opportunity I'm going after, it's a few cities away from me, and they provide room and board, so it'll be really fun! Such a cute apartment, I can't wait to see it decorated! My favorite decor piece is a framed picture of the 2 snakes medical symbol with flowers on it that my friend gave me for starting PA school!

I would put a couch against the wall with the ac unit / cable hookup. then get a swivel mount that comes out and mount the tv on the wall that faces the front door so you can watch tv while you cook or on the couch. and then in the corner put a table to eat like you said or even a desk ... and get a kitchen island/cart with barstools and storage
