    I recently bought this after eyeing it for over a year and a half. I'm glad i bought it because of the size. It's perfect if you have slim wrists, so I jumped the gun and bought it as a christmas gift to myself. 😊

    This is an accurate description, well done. I originally wanted the SSC813, but after trying it on, the dimensions were not for me and the thing that stuck out the most was the ‘smaller’ sub-dial at the six o’clock position, I felt it size compromised the symmetry of the watch. Furthermore at 39mm the legibility of the smaller sub-dial was an issue. I have watched many reviews about the SSC813 but your review seems to be the only one to address that smaller sub-dial. I love the colour way of the SSC813 but in the end I purchased the SSC911 which I found to be a better fit and in addition I felt it had better symmetry to it. The SSC923P1 Black Series (aka Darth Seiko) takes a more ‘Stealthy’ approach and comes with what I feel is the most potent version of Seiko’s ‘retina searing’ LumiBrite on the hands and index(es).

      I like it very much, it’s not perfect but it’s an attractive watch, nice dimensions and relatively functional.

    Good review, well done. I have this watch as well and and I really like it. I paid 400 euros for mine. Bought it as new on the secondary market. Well worth that price. The second hand does not hit all the markers exactly but to me that is just a little quirck.

      You really got great price for this watch. I don't notice the misalignment on the second hand that much, now that you mention i started to see it😀. Thanks for the comment i really appreciate it.

    Are you able to set a 1 hr. countdown timer?

      You are not able to set a timer, you will have to use the stopwatch as one

    Fantastic review 👏 how do you feel about this compared to the 143 ? Do you have a favourite out of the 2 ?
    I have a 143 and thinking of getting this not sure if to just stick with the 143 thanks 😊

      Thank you for your comment, i really appreciate it. I might be a little biased, but for me, the 143 is the best seiko hands down😀it gets the most wrist time and i think the quality is on another level compared to the speedtimer. You can check my review of the 143 on my channel. Cheers and enjoy your watches.

      @timepieceofart thanks for the reply I think I might skip the panda 🐼 then I saw other day for gbp £440 that was fairly cheap but if the 143 is a lot better no point paying 😀

    How many years is the lifespan of this watch sir? I'm planning to buy my first watch I can't choose between solar or automatic watch. What would you recommend sir thank you

    • @timepieceofart
      @timepieceofart  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I terms of daily use, solar is way more convenient, especially if you dont wear your watch everyday. The lifespan of the solar battery is around 10 years. But i prefer automatic movement, with proper maintenance, it can last practically forever. Cheers
