True, it’s worth noting Jobs was not shy about his admiration for morita, publicly citing him as his inspiration. When they met he was immediately curious about how morita handled things, how hands on he was with the development of their Walkman, etc. And he applied that knowledge incredibly well. If we attribute all this knowledge to Jobs alone, that’s on us, he was very public about his admiration and respect for morita, for Sony, and for Japanese companies and products as a whole.
