Destructors werent a huge band compared to gbh, varukers etc.. cool interview, i wonder why the interviewer chose them instead of more well known band? None the less really cool Imagine these dudes now in their 50s? Fucking time! I was born 83 im 34, these dudes were probably like 18-21 back then. A lot of the 77-82 bands you see now and you're like fuck they got old. Just trips me out how time flies, these guys are like in their mid 50s now. Its all about mentality, i still feel and act like im 16 but now i have a kid and pay bills vs back in 1999
I was one of this generations punks, I am 56 now, single dad of 3 kids living in Thailand. I remember buying the destructors album when it came out. I still listen to punk rock ( if we had a soul it would be punk rock) inside I still feel young......and I have no idea who that old tattooed pierced guy is looking back from the mirror...but he does look like he has lived a life. Believe me watching disorder playing "life" now as fat balding old men instead of beautiful young crusty punks is sobering , the youth bit is so short. Enjoy your life Enjoy your kids Enjoy your music and whatever makes you happy, life is short so enjoy it bro.
youtube, the place where you can find comments left by some boring dumbass who has nothing interesting to say. As if anyone thinks he's funny or clever.
Is punk ultimately about being excellent artistically or just going out and f'n doing it!? These guys certainly aren't amazing but they look like they're having a blast and helping a bunch of other people have a blast too!
I'm going to step out on a limb. Betting this band has played to way more enthusiastic audiences than the original poster had ever experienced. Haters usually share a degree of inspiration deficit.
One of my all time Favorites…Great Band!
Neil is a top lad. Lives here in New Zealand now. Still going hard
RIP Allen Adams
This is a beautiful & important historical document!
Thanx Double Visions for the video, there was another one which quality was quite poor, UK82 always in my heart, greetings from Spain

TH-cam, the place where you can find a documentary about the shittiest punk bands ever. As if it was of any importance except for themselves.
