I was just listening to unrehearsed wrongs and typed the disrupters into utube and this doc popped up..wtf???...Nice one...I fuckin loved playing with fire....Great lp, shit production....they sounded great, kinda like listening thru a wall...the apostles and the accursed were similarly great....cheers fer this mucker...
Just sold my Disrupters Vinyl, Unreheards Wrongs and Playing With Fire. Loved Wrongs at the time and was great listening to it again recently, it really took me back. Really surprised to see this docu on TH-cam, great find. Cheers for making/posting!
Always loved this band from the very first time i heard the song Young Offender when i was like 12 years of age, well over 30 years ago. Unrehearsed Wrongs remains one of my favourite albums of all time and Bomb Heaven remains one of my favourite singles.
Loved lots of punk rock in the mid 70,s and knew Kevin the drummer because he lived in west earlham where i was born and lived for 20 years.Moved on from punk and into Joy division and then new order and then into rave .Never saw the disrupters but they were well respected and loved by the norwich crowd.
awesome! love this band! I've always thought that the track "Rot In Hell" by The Disrupters was the best UK punk song from the Thatcher-era...the hatred in that song is so fucking palpable! thanks again for another awesome upload mate!!
Their 1988 tunes were as good as their 1980 tunes, brilliant punk. "Late 80s, the anarcho thing had got a little bit dogmatic for me, got very, very politically correct.. Found it a bit limiting really.." Spot on, pretty much how it is today man.

Another glorious Norwich local band. There's more from these guys on my channel - and some vintage DI audio recordings before they went crusty.
