I got the boon once that gives you invincibility after dashing and that shit basically carried me all the way to my first fight with Hades. I had the chaos shield too. I was just spamming dash and attack like a madman.
Same that’s my strategy, I dash back and forth striking repeatedly with the twin fists. It lets you get in hits without the enemy being able to get a hit in on you. It also means you can do damage just by dashing if you have a boon for that.
The difficulty curve in this game is so weird. It took me 3 tries to beat Meg, 1 try to beat the Hydra, 19 tries to beat The Heroes, and 4 tries to beat Hades.
Weirdly enough I beat Meg (and the other sisters) on my first encounter with them, and rarely lose. But the hydra I was stuck on for like 3 days. Haven’t managed to beat the champs yet.
For the Theseus/Asterius fight, I highly recommend getting Aphrodite's Aid (charms an enemy into fighting for you) because seeing Asterius give off love hearts and chop down Theseus (with Theseus going, "WTF ASTERIUS!!") is good enough for me
Another option for when Asterius does his bull charge- run into Theseus so that Asterius will crash into him. Then Theseus will yell "not me Asterius!" Might not be the smartest strategy wise but I do it bc I find it funny lol
I beat Hades by accident today, after using Adamant Rail for the first time. I always thought it was such a dumb weapon for a game like Hades, decided to use it once so I'd at least get some titan's blood and a diamond, ended up stacking incredibly useful boons on top, and beat Hades quite easily. Couldn't believe my own eyes. This game never fails to amaze me, I keep finding new things to try! Very useful video by the way.
Same, i couldn't control adamant rail and then at some point i used it to get titan blood, suddenly i completed the run for the first time with the 3-bomb customize.
I was treating it like Ornstein and Smough in DS, where you go for the nimble one first then focus on the slow fatty. Seems the opposite is the strat here.
My advice: Try getting the call (F- ability) of Ares, you can dodge damage with it and if you use it fully charged on Hades after you "downed" him aka "killed" him once, he is a piece of cake :) HF GL
I'm sure it's not a coincidence that one of the few commonalities in my (three) successful runs so far have been getting Hermes' boon for extra dashes. I don't really know the Hades fight that well yet so the extra dashes legitimately come in handy when something comes at me I'm not expecting.
as long as you have the health to tank a few big hits, I feel like Hades phase 2 is significantly easier. the trick is that phase 1 can carve through your health and death defiances like a hot knife through butter.
Lmfao my biggest problem. I can regularly get to hades with all 3 of my death defiances and then he literally destroys me and I basically lose them all in phase 1. Then I feel I do much better in phase 2 but end up running out of HP
was just looking for tips on the Elysium boss fight, thanks for trying not to spoil anything story/game wise and keep it to just breaking down the fights much appreciated and all the best to ya.
I love the variety in the bosses in this game. Not just how every boss is different, but also how it slightly switches up the boss fights after a while. So great and keeps me wanting to come back for more!
Haha all the times I've fought the bone Hydra, Zag always mentions he's done something knew with his head but usually you kill the summoned heads so fast and don't notice new attack patterns
I didn't even think of hiding behind the pillars while Theseus is throwing a spear at you. Here I was just dashing in crazy directions hoping for him to miss. Thanks!
Good guide, but I think you should cover Meg's sisters as well. Most people will see them before Hades, so it's not exactly a spoiler. Same for Bone Hydra variants.
Wtf, I defeated megera at first encounter but for her sisters is really troublesome, or well, for the green one actually, she always treat me really hard.
what a really great guide, i was pretty good at recognizing attack patterns already but you made me notice useful details i never did before!! thank you so much!!
Thanks to your guide I beat Theseus and the Minotaur on my first try! Who knows if i’ll ever be able to do that again but I’m still shaking and I can’t believe I did it!! I had to take a five minute break I was so in shock
There are a couple things I think you missed: 1: For Asterius, his attack that has no windup I've only ever seen him use directly behind himself, so unintuitively, you should stand in-front of him in-between his attacks. 2: For the Hades fight, if you time it right you are able to dodge through all of the explosion waves from his skulls and when he goes into his 2nd health bar, just be far enough from the detonation and dodge directly towards and through the wave, very useful to know if you're not able to destroy a skull in time and won't be able to move far enough away, and a good way to get some somewhat free damage on his 2nd health bar. (edit) 3: For the Hades fight, during his first phase if you use a Greater Call he's pretty much guaranteed to disappear and wait out most of it, he WILL randomly disappear, but it's far more likely if you use Call
Because I'm pretty bad at dodging those skull explosion waves, I've been taking out the skulls as fast as can to just get rid of the possibility of dodging those.
Will focus on these tips! I've fought hades for 4 times so far, literally only knew he has a freaking second health bar last night. Will try again tonight. Thanks for the video
Liked just for the setup. Going through them in the order they are encountered and reminding folks to fight the boss before getting spoilers is actually rare on the internet. :)
I really enjoy this video. I would love to see more guides and tips type of Hades videos. Man, there's so much to try and learn. I honestly can't really tell the difference between boon levels or boon rarities-like would you rather have a leveled-up boon or a more rare type of the same boon. Thanks for the great content!
Thanks for the comment! Basically a more rare boon has higher potential irrespective of the number of poms. Getting a higher rarity is usually more valuable because it enhances how effective your poms are.
((I’ve only gotten to Hades once so far)) at this point for me, Meg and her sisters are all the easiest (although Meg is the most difficult out of the three), the bone hydra is also pretty easy but a little harder dodging all the lava and bombs, and Theseus and Asterius are VERY difficult for me (always have to use one of my Defends). I'm on my 3rd boss and I'm still trying to figure out how to avoid their simultaneous attacks. Watching this vid and observing their patterns really helps a lot. I even learned some nice tips with the first two bosses. Thank you.
Another tip that I found extremely helpful for the two champions is to use your cast primarily to hurt Theseus. I started fighting the two like the video focusing entirely on Asterius then killing Theseus. However, most cast boons just ignore shields so while dodging the bull, using your cast on Theseus can save you some time.
Man this vids are awesome, I waited out for hades on switch because my PC doesn’t work anymore lol. This means I’m a new player and these tips are high key very helpful
Haha I know right! Typically that is the point where you find out if the run will work for you or not. So if you get past those two you are strong enough for hades as well
It's been the opposite: most of the time, Theseus and the minotaur aren't hard to beat (Artemis' boon that lets you mark a nearby enemy for critical damage helps a lot), but I really struggled with the final boss until I won the first time, and even then, it took me more tries before I got the hang of that fight.
Great stuff man. There are enough useless guides out there that starts with "first get this boon, then this, then that, then this, and then one shot the boss" put over boss photage at 200% speed which you learn nothing from. I wanted to see and learn their moves better, and know my windows of opportunities, so I can approach them with confidence regardless of weapons and boons. So great work! :)
Got my first victory over Hades last night. Heart seeker bow with flurry shot, extra dash, deflect dash and lots of demeter boons. The demeter cast took care of all the boss fights for me, dashing around picking up the stones to redeploy my 'turrets' while sniping from a distance with the bow.
I was late to the Hades party, but loving the game. Thank you for your tips. I was getting to Hades in most runs, but had a hard time beating him. But, now I'm beating him in almost every run with most weapons!
One general tip that applies for all bosses but especially Theseus and Hades. If Ares, Athena, or Poseidon show up in your rotation *get their call ASAP* regardless of what you are running or were planning to run. These are the only calls that make you impervious and also deal damage which is monumental for punishing Theseus during his god calls and Hades during his lasers with absolute impunity. Personally I prefer Ares since it has the highest consistent base damage without needing to allocate many resources to supplement it, if any at all.
I hate Theseus he is such a douche, he thinks he is so powerfull just because is 2v1, he is kind of charming but, I hate him, but is so satisfying when you beat them, and show him who is tha boss
Great video! Also, i would enjoy seeing some runs from a new save file now that you’ve completed the true ending to see what kinds of builds/decisions you make before endgame (if that’s still the plan)
I'm still so stuck on the final fight, only to lose my stubborn defiances and die quickly on the second phase... hopefully I'll finally beat him one day
This is my first game that I'm playing (new to gaming) and it's been difficult for me😂 after beating meg the first time and understanding patterns I've realized I can now beat her everytime but the Hydra ! Ugh, I did so well my first encounter with it and only have about 1/4 of his health left but then all the heads and the lava was what killed me 😭😭 I've just been dashing around and smashing buttons like an idiot since I'm still new to gaming but the game itself is so fun. I love how everytime you go through it's oddly the same yet completely different and hypos is such an ass with his sassy comments but I love it! Thanks for this guide, I'll definitely try your tips with the Hydra !
Right on! I'm glad you found this game! Just so you know, this game is especially difficult. They really don't hold your hand and they force you to start over at each death. Lots of other games have a more forgiving mechanic. Luckily there's lots to do between runs though!
Some I've discovered: When Asterius does the overhead slam(s), just walk towards him (noo need to dodge, just walk) and he'll land behind you, with his back exposed. If you want to dodge through the spin attack of Hades, it may give you a better intuition on the timing to look at his animation, rather than the radius indicator. There is an Ares boon that gives you about 30% extra damage for the entire encounter if you death defy. You'll die to Hades and then you will thank yourself for choosing it. More of a survivability tip: Commission the upgrade to switch keepsakes between regions. Get and upgrade the one for Hypnos, equip it in Tartarus or Asphodel, because those areas are easier. You'll ideally be rich by the time you reach Elysium, especially if you use the deep pockets upgrade or Side Hustle from Hermes. Switch to Charon's hourglass in Elysium. If you have the hourglass maxed, the wells will make you unstoppable. But even with the extended durations, the short chambers of Labyrinth will wear them off fast, so it's better to switch something else, but only after you buy more stuff in that well. Switching to an other keepsake will not shorten back the duration of well effects you already have! This should help with reaching Hades with all revives intact.
Ive only started playing this game recently...late to the party, ikr? >< I reached the The Minotaur & Theseus around my 20th run, & damn, THAT was a jump in difficulty for sure!!! Ive HAD to resort to vidz, the games just toooo frickin good n stuffed to the brim with different mechanics & strategies....Its incredible imo. Ive literally reached this duo again now a few runs later, & after watching ur vid im feeling pretty confident. Fantastic breakdown mate, good job!!
I just purchased this on Switch and now completely hooked. Its been a lot of fun. I'm consistently making it to Hades but that 2nd phase is killing me. I'm not gonna watch the tips for this but maybe the previous tips will put me over the edge. Working on unlocking thins and getting duos now. Maybe one of the builds will put me over the edge.
I rock the spear and dash around the perimeter and apply a hit and run strategy for the Theseus fight. As soon as he throws his spear you can dash in and attack and then jet as his spear has a cooldown.
I just started playing this game today (as in yesterday bc it’s 2 am right now) and I’m already feeling the urge to smash something bc hades is so difficult. I literally got to the end of phase 2, we both had a sliver of health left, and then my controller died right then and there.
Got this game 2 days ago, got to hades fight finally with all health revives and abilities helping. Beat him! Celebrated too soon, died in second phase when he became a fricking chandelier of lasers, and when he woke up I didn't have my controller in my hands so scrambled to get it after having thought I just beat the game.
Oh how I needed this. I’ve encountered the Elysium bosses for the first time and basically panic dashed the whole time. Still failed though so hopefully this guide helps 😂
I only ever got to beath the 3rd boss twice so far. On my 2nd time with Hades I had at least 70% health and 2 death defiance I thought I was safe but then he resurrected and I was so surprised it knocked me out of focus and I lost so easily lol. So now I'm here.
Yeah! Been playing metroidvanias (deaths door). Also I'm playing through the outer wilds dlc on stream on Tuesday nights. Also Valheim with channel friends. Cheers!
1:38 Damn, i was hoping there would be tips about that in the vid lol. That always chips away at my health. My tips (made em myself): There are those green wall or pillar things in the boss room. Try not to destroy them when you fight Meg. When she does her bullet attacks, hide behind the pillar for a bit. If you don't have a pillar or it was destroyed, you're gonna have to dodge that shit and touhou your way to victory. Another tip to dodge these, move as far as possible from her when she does this. The farther you are, the bigger space between each bullet which makes it easier to dodge.
“Dash around like a lunatic” lol the only duo I remember to get is Athena/Demeter one that replenishes health every 1 second so that’s been my strategy for the Hades fight
I started playing Hades about a week or two ago. I almost beat my first run. I was using the fists (my personal favorite weapon) and getting some great boons and other stuff. I killed Hades, thought it was over, and started to celebrate too early. He got back up and killed me after I got him about half down on health the second time. It was very frustrating. I used death defiance once for the Elysium boss (I usually use two or three), recovered it and still didn't beat Hades. I was very frustrated, but I think I can beat him within the next few runs.
I don't know who needs to hear this now but if you are stuck in the bull and hawkeye fight, jiggle between the two big cakes that they have in the room. Those will block all the damage from hawkeye. Use spear's long range attack to hit the bull from behind the cake and when he approaches, move to the next one. Easiest and cheesiest way to kill them.
I'm sure you're past their base forms but for future runs always try to have either Ares, Athena, or Poseidon's call. These render you impervious to damage so you can punish Theseus with absolute impunity while he does his call. Same applies to Hades and his lasers.
That slight delay on Hades' spin attack always gets me. I really struggle to get that timing down, especially when pesky brightswords are poking at me. I recently got Hades down at least once with all the weapons. The Shield, Fists, and Spear were significantly easier than the others. Shield because it literally nullifies all his mechanics and the other two because I think the boons I had were busted. I started out the game thinking the melee weapons were so much worse than the ranged but my first clear was with the Shield and now the ranged weapons just feel super weak to me. The gun especially so.
Short boss review: The Furies (Megaera): free win, summoned enemies are a joke bc it's tartarus (Alecto): last 1/4th of her health is pain (Tisiphone): long range weapons will perish in the last 1/3rd of her health, which is exactly why you don't want to get the hazard bomb hammer in tartarus Bone Hydra: easy fight, aoe damage is rewarded with killing more heads at once, don't be too agressive if you see the head going up Heroes: it's purely up to you to decide who you kill first, i recommend you always should go for theseus with shield bypassing skills (rail special, trippy shot, charged shot hammer), you gotta be very evasive with the spear throw because 20 damage per hit, sometimes hits twice Hades: you really gotta be dodging the best you can because his attacks hurt like hell, especially with the skull throw because yeah double damage from boiling blood effect it gives, dash into shockwaves, kill super annoying enemies (mainly the ones from elysium) Hades (Phase 2): YOU HAVE TO DODGE THE LASERS, no cap it does 20 damage per tick (speed simillar to asphodel magma), also try to avoid the green jars because they do 30 damage and stun (damage boosted from heightened security modifier) (Not mentioning extreme measures changes bc i never tried that)
Taking Athenas defensive boons help a ton on all bossses. The deflect via attack for instance is super useful into thaseus and the hydra. The divine dash paired with hermes double dash is really good into hades as well
@@JawlessPaul Yeah, so much so its almost game breaking. I don't mind swapping it out for the attacks deflect on the rail or special deflects on the gold bow but every other weapon its DD everytime I can take it lol
cmon I am so sad :/ almost got Hades on my 14th escape. Had respawns, perfect bonuses and he survived with like legit 3 % hp on his second "revived" form :/
A few additions to the good old bull The lasers will start at half health When he runs, you can guide him into the other one to do some damage And when he jumps, dash behind him to get some damage in
Just beat Hades for the first time! (I did it without the guide to be surprised) I hid behind my shield like a coward while FOUR Crystal Beams did all the work. I even had the Duo Boon for regenerating Health. The cheesiest win! Escape attempt 27 was the lucky one.
Murder fury tisiphone is significantly easier than Meg and Alecto haha, im always stoked when she shows up, you just decimate her, especially when it gets more closed in and you have Eris or Achilles
farthest I ve gotten is also 2nd phase hades. I actually got to 2nd phase with a death defiance too I was just too shocked to do anything and kinda gave up
Any guides on the temple of styx? I literally struggle in the poison tunnels more than the boss himself and that is usually what makes or breaks a run for me.
Aspect of Arthur plus the lambent plume keepsake then Ares and Hermes boons that increase your attack and dodge points. Fav combo! There's also a daedalus hammer that heals you 2hp per attack when using swords. Ghhhhhh literally kills all them bosses in no time.
"Alternatively, you can dash around like a lunatic" - me, literally me. That's my main strategy for boss fights and I may be terrible
I got the boon once that gives you invincibility after dashing and that shit basically carried me all the way to my first fight with Hades. I had the chaos shield too. I was just spamming dash and attack like a madman.
Haha, both can work!
It's super good!
I usually either get Athena and pick the: "UNO-No U!" boon so "♪Projectiles never bothered me anyway♫" or destroy them with attacc
Same that’s my strategy, I dash back and forth striking repeatedly with the twin fists. It lets you get in hits without the enemy being able to get a hit in on you. It also means you can do damage just by dashing if you have a boon for that.
When I finally kill Hades, but he revives: *Understandable, Have a nice day.*
Yeah... that's a difficult moment 😂
Yeah, there's no escape indeed 😅
Where do you think zag got his death défiances from 😂
I felt pressed
I will never stop hating when games do that. That or boss gauntlets.
And don't forget kids, after the Asterius and Theseus fight to greet your favourite shade (the red one).
OK, I JUST saw a post on this. So cool!
@@JawlessPaul wait what?!

It also depends on rng whether you are given what you need for a decent build or not. Not necessary, but a good build goes a long way
Weirdly enough I beat Meg (and the other sisters) on my first encounter with them, and rarely lose. But the hydra I was stuck on for like 3 days. Haven’t managed to beat the champs yet.
I beat every boss after dying just once to them ^^ except hades, which I beat first try :3

Delta chamber with support fire and pressure points is no fucking joke regardless of who you have in the attack slot.
@@talleywa5772 Totally agree, Delta Chamber + Support Fire is nuts. Also, I like having Zeus' attack boon on rail for added damage to his minions.

I'm on my 3rd boss and I'm still trying to figure out how to avoid their simultaneous attacks. Watching this vid and observing their patterns really helps a lot. I even learned some nice tips with the first two bosses. Thank you.
I'm so glad! Cheers and good luck!
Some of your best work yet JP. Really liked it!
Thanks my dude! Really appreciate that coming from you! 👍
This is one time I’m thankful for ads. Came up before he transitioned to the next boss so no spoils. Thanks for the tips bud 👌🏽
You can deflect Hades skull cast as well. If you have Divine Dash, you'll never get stuck with that nasty double damage debuff
Yes! That's a good thing to remember!
Man this vids are awesome, I waited out for hades on switch because my PC doesn’t work anymore lol. This means I’m a new player and these tips are high key very helpful
Is already out in Nintendo eShop with 20% discount (offer is going to go off soon)
I'm glad they helped!
Why is Asterius and the Minotaur way harder than the last boss? I lose somewhere between 2 DDs and 1 run every time I see them.
I'm so glad it was helpful!
Very nice!
Great guide! Seeing them in slow motion is really helpful. Thanks!
I'm glad it helped!
Perfect guide. Killed the minotaur and theseus on the first try. Thank you!
I was late to the Hades party, but loving the game. Thank you for your tips. I was getting to Hades in most runs, but had a hard time beating him. But, now I'm beating him in almost every run with most weapons!
Nice! It's a tough game for sure but it sounds like you've cracked the code!
Made it to Hades today. Will keep trying. At first I didn't care that much about it. But it gets addicting.
Totally! It just gets more fun as you get better at the game
Getting the minotaur to run into Theseus is hilarious.
Even funnier is charming Theseus when he is calling his God...
I hate Theseus he is such a douche, he thinks he is so powerfull just because is 2v1, he is kind of charming but, I hate him, but is so satisfying when you beat them, and show him who is tha boss
Haha, I don't know if I've done that! 😂
Great video! Also, i would enjoy seeing some runs from a new save file now that you’ve completed the true ending to see what kinds of builds/decisions you make before endgame (if that’s still the plan)
Definitely! I've gotta get all the unlocks for my main file first. There are some "hidden" things that I want to see first.
Me: A boss guide? Excellent! I could use some tips for Tisiphone and Alecto.
Paul: I’ll let you discover those for yourself.
I got you! th-cam.com/video/vBadslpTip8/w-d-xo.html
Thanks!@@JawlessPaul
I'm still so stuck on the final fight, only to lose my stubborn defiances and die quickly on the second phase... hopefully I'll finally beat him one day
You'll get there!
This is my first game that I'm playing (new to gaming) and it's been difficult for me😂 after beating meg the first time and understanding patterns I've realized I can now beat her everytime but the Hydra ! Ugh, I did so well my first encounter with it and only have about 1/4 of his health left but then all the heads and the lava was what killed me 😭😭
I've just been dashing around and smashing buttons like an idiot since I'm still new to gaming but the game itself is so fun.
Some I've discovered:
When Asterius does the overhead slam(s), just walk towards him (noo need to dodge, just walk) and he'll land behind you, with his back exposed.
Good tips!
Thank you! I was stuck on Meg for 3 hours. You are my hero! 😭
I'm glad it helped!
Ive only started playing this game recently...late to the party, ikr? ><
I reached the The Minotaur & Theseus around my 20th run, & damn, THAT was a jump in difficulty for sure!!!
I'm so glad it was helpful! Cheers!
Dude Amazing use of that Watership Down line!
Haha, thanks! I always need to find a way to display my inner weird. 🤣
Yeah! Putting together strong builds is huge!
11:25 you can also use this for the 3 laser attack, it's called the "Hug Dad" technique
This was great at hiding spoilers, lots of care was taken for sure. 🙏
Definitely! I know what it's like to want some help but still not want things to be ruined :)
Helped me finish the second boss in one go, thanks!
I rock the spear and dash around the perimeter and apply a hit and run strategy for the Theseus fight. As soon as he throws his spear you can dash in and attack and then jet as his spear has a cooldown.
Definitely! Using the environment to avoid the spears is critical
I just started playing this game today (as in yesterday bc it’s 2 am right now) and I’m already feeling the urge to smash something bc hades is so difficult. I literally got to the end of phase 2, we both had a sliver of health left, and then my controller died right then and there.
bad luck mate!!!!!!!!
"I on the other hand, prefer the gentlemanly approach."
Me: Hello, me, lunatic, go dash-dash, zoom
Haha, there are many ways to do it! 😂
"tutorial" "yeah I'm just not gonna tell you what the boss does, figure it out for yourself"
Thanks for the tips dude, helped me out a lot 👍
Oh how I needed this. I’ve encountered the Elysium bosses for the first time and basically panic dashed the whole time. Still failed though so hopefully this guide helps 😂
I hope it helped!
@@JawlessPaul I’ve made it past the Minotaur thanks to your guide on his attack pattern but I can never defeat Theseus 😥
I only ever got to beath the 3rd boss twice so far. On my 2nd time with Hades I had at least 70% health and 2 death defiance I thought I was safe but then he resurrected and I was so surprised it knocked me out of focus and I lost so easily lol. So now I'm here.
You got this! The champs will become easier with more practice obviously and then you'll have more chances to fight Hades :)
Great guide for people getting stuck on these bosses! Keep up the good content!
Thanks Quentin!
I needed this after my first time with hades, Thank you!
(Also about the laser, i just hold bull rush to defend myself, kinda works)
that's definitely a decent strategy!
Just subscribed to your channel, you have some great content here. I was wondering do you cover more games than just hades?
Moving away from her and to one side generally makes it easier to avoid the missiles
@@JawlessPaul i didn't know that... im trying that right now!
2:10 that's exactly why I'm on this video. I am struggling to fight tisiphone and alecto
I'll make that video eventually
“Dash around like a lunatic”
lol the only duo I remember to get is Athena/Demeter one that replenishes health every 1 second so that’s been my strategy for the Hades fight
Haha, that can work! 😂
I love that they are big cakes! 🎂
Will you make a video for alekto and tisiphone? I struggle with them way more than megaira
Eventually! I have a back log of videos I want to make. It'll come eventually!
Stuck on the 3d boss, so hard.
It's a very tough!
The theseus boss fight helped alott, got them on my first try 🔥🔥
Right on! I'm glad it was helpful!
Short boss review:
The Furies
(Megaera): free win, summoned enemies are a joke bc it's tartarus
(Alecto): last 1/4th of her health is pain
(Tisiphone): long range weapons will perish in the last 1/3rd of her health, which is exactly why you don't want to get the hazard bomb hammer in tartarus
Bone Hydra: easy fight, aoe damage is rewarded with killing more heads at once, don't be too agressive if you see the head going up
Heroes: it's purely up to you to decide who you kill first, i recommend you always should go for theseus with shield bypassing skills (rail special, trippy shot, charged shot hammer), you gotta be very evasive with the spear throw because 20 damage per hit, sometimes hits twice
Hades: you really gotta be dodging the best you can because his attacks hurt like hell, especially with the skull throw because yeah double damage from boiling blood effect it gives, dash into shockwaves, kill super annoying enemies (mainly the ones from elysium)
Hades (Phase 2): YOU HAVE TO DODGE THE LASERS, no cap it does 20 damage per tick (speed simillar to asphodel magma), also try to avoid the green jars because they do 30 damage and stun (damage boosted from heightened security modifier)
(Not mentioning extreme measures changes bc i never tried that)
Nice!
Taking Athenas defensive boons help a ton on all bossses.
The deflect via attack for instance is super useful into thaseus and the hydra. The divine dash paired with hermes double dash is really good into hades as well
Divine dash is one of the top boons in the game imo.
Dang!!!
A few additions to the good old bull
The lasers will start at half health
When he runs, you can guide him into the other one to do some damage
And when he jumps, dash behind him to get some damage in
Good tips!
I was soooooo close to killing the minotaur just now and friggin Theseus threw a spear in my back!
What a dingus!!
@@JawlessPaul lol
An invaluable and extremely informative guide. Thank you so much
You are welcome, glad it helped!
Just beat Hades for the first time! (I did it without the guide to be surprised)
I hid behind my shield like a coward while FOUR Crystal Beams did all the work. I even had the Duo Boon for regenerating Health. The cheesiest win!
Escape attempt 27 was the lucky one.
Nice work! No shame in finding the cheese build!
Murder fury tisiphone is significantly easier than Meg and Alecto haha, im always stoked when she shows up, you just decimate her, especially when it gets more closed in and you have Eris or Achilles
I think I can agree with that. I don't like her triple spin attack though. It goes so far!
i appreciate this channel so much its helped me in hades so much oh my god
Haha, so glad to hear it!
Im on my 40+ attempt and the farthest I've gotten was the final boss' second phase :( Nor can I reliably get through Elysium's boss ugh
It's a tough game Marielle! Hopefully you can find a combo that works for you!
farthest I ve gotten is also 2nd phase hades. I actually got to 2nd phase with a death defiance too I was just too shocked to do anything and kinda gave up
I can consistently beat Elysium's bosses pretty easily.
Thank you so much, Aspect of Chiron.
Any guides on the temple of styx? I literally struggle in the poison tunnels more than the boss himself and that is usually what makes or breaks a run for me.
Hmmm... I don't have any guides at the moment. I'd just watch some gameplay
11:30
I tought the saying goes: "Before you can say goodbye, you have to hug your dad"
Good point!
While fighting the Minotaur if you have ares’s dash attack you can keep damaging him while he chases you
That's true! It works with Dionysus's and Zeus's dash as well
Just died to Hades for the second time, I didn't even make it past the first phase and I had 2 death defiances and a lucky tooth.
made it all the way to hades for the first time and got killed in 30 seconds
It's a tough fight!
Aspect of Arthur plus the lambent plume keepsake then Ares and Hermes boons that increase your attack and dodge points. Fav combo! There's also a daedalus hammer that heals you 2hp per attack when using swords. Ghhhhhh literally kills all them bosses in no time.
Interesting! Wouldn't have thought of those!
the horse sound was the best :) Thank You.
Haha you bet!
