To be fair he is actually a bad father who admittedly is trying to do better but Daniel is right I mean who took care of Robby who got him to stop stealing who gave him a home who got him to start going back to school who gave him a father figure and a mentor not Johnny who was not in their sons life for years Johnny Lawrence.
I loved this show at the beginning, but the writers have been trashing Daniel and his family throughout and figuratively kicking sand in Daniels face. (Except Krease and Silver), I was glad to see Johnny get some love and recognition of his background story, but the way they are making Daniel and his family look is awful. Daniel and Mr. Miyagi were the heart and soul of The Karate Kid and it feels like they are surgically removing that heart and soul. It feels very mean spirited. If they don't knock off making Daniel and his family look like jerks, it's a no go for me going forward.

What Johnny should've done was said: "Look, your daughter's fine. Her and Robby are inside. I'm going to let you in, but you have to be calm, alright?" instead of slamming the door shut.
They both had good intentions, but sadly the situation was less than ideal and both of them went about things, the wrong way.
@@truebeliever786 I think Johnny should stop being a cool parent and let Daniel see his daughter. If Daniel has just seen sam and that she was ok, Daniel would automatically cool down but Johnny literally shut the door on Daniel's face that makes it look he was hiding something. And when Daniel saw sam afterwards he asker her "are you ok, why didn't you call or text us". He didn't lash out that hard and if Johnny have just let Daniel in, none of this would happen
If I had been Johnny, I would have gone all the way out of the apartment and shut the door behind me. LaRusso isn't packing, and Johnny knows this, so no danger there. Then just calmly explain to Daniel what happened and what the situation was. Tell the truth, no bullcrap, just straight up. Daniel is mad and he'll interrupt and do his hothead routine, but just ignore it and get him to listen to the truth. I don't think Johnny wanted Daniel to be furious with Robby or Samantha, and talking to him and telling the truth would have gotten Daniel's anger to dissolve sooner. I know this doesn't work all the time, and the show's outcome was probably more realistic, but I'm just trying to think of a way Johnny could have defused the situation.
Bro In real life johnny was fuck up Daniel
What does Sam getting drunk have to do with Robby? Is he her babysitter? Why is he saying "I trusted Robby" like she is somehow his responsibility? So stupid and I wish the show called him out on this more
Maybe because like a lot of fathers, Daniel just never think their daughters can do no wrong.

Never would've thought back in the first Karate Kid days that i'd end up rooting for Johnny to best Daniel
Because you never think.
It’s not the miyagi do way
So Johnny took care of Sam for a night then Danny call him a bad father. Still think Daniel is a good guy?
To be fair he is actually a bad father who admittedly is trying to do better but Daniel is right I mean who took care of Robby who got him to stop stealing who gave him a home who got him to start going back to school who gave him a father figure and a mentor not Johnny who was not in their sons life for years Johnny Lawrence.
I do because Daniel has the right to jump into conclusions since he is a hothead and Sam should’ve contacted him
cool
Ilove robby
To Be Honest The Larusso Family Basically Starts Everything
I loved this show at the beginning, but the writers have been trashing Daniel and his family throughout and figuratively kicking sand in Daniels face. I get it that they are trying to show that all of them have gray areas in their characters. That's perfectly valid. No one is all good or all bad.
I love Daniel, but he really has a bad habit of jumping to conclusions. Didn't Mr Miyagi teach him about breathing and balance?
He lost Mr Miyagi like 7 years prior
And Johnny, (or anyone else on the show for that matter) never jump to conclusions?? Why is Daniel the only one on the show that isn't allowed to let his heart get the best of his head. Every one else gets a pass except him.
@@lindanearing4710 Facts. Don’t forget that Daniel naturally has a bit of Cobra Kai inside him. But when Johnny does something flawed, the Johnny fanboys ignores what wrong doing he did

Sorry to interrupt please allow me introduce you myself my name is Ema Cristina Hernandez I am sweet or caring and helpful please don’t call me as spoiler just hear me out I just try to conversation with you guys I love Cobra Kai I know Daniel find out about Samantha was drunk at last night that’s how he got anger emotion to Johnny Lawrence for Robby bring Samantha back at Johnny Lawrence’s house I just wish you accept my deep speech
In karate kid I liked Daniel and in cobra Kai I liked Johnny
I understand why Daniel was angry, but he could've handled this situation differently. Mr.Miyagi would've kept him from kicking through Johnny's door.
