IM BUILDING MY APP. Thank you Raw Start Up, you have been very inspirational and I already got Devs to work on my app. Should be done in 2 months. I’m very excited and obsessed with this.

Great discussion. Gems are available out here, even if you have some budget. I really liked the suggestion “get into the conversation”; they will see your company, etc.

Well... If you value your time, then it's not 'no budget' it might be no $$$ going out the door, but there's still a cost.
It's still an excellent video to watch.
Even if you have some budget, Robin explains where to start, which for a startup is really important.

Thanks yes that is true. In the early stages there is often time, but no money. Later stage it can be the other way around.

    Interesting video!
Thank you for the useful insights!
I would add that content is not the only $0 budget channel.
Actually, content ramps up slowly (6 months+) which makes it bad for a big portion of the startups.
Social media for us works well for staying on top of mind for existing users/customers... and building brand awareness in general. But for acquiring new customers/users it is rather poor.
    B2B Sales outbound emails/phone calls.. that's also $0 channel.
Growth hacking.. that's also $0 channel.
The way I think about channels is - the different channels have different fit with your business.
You need to find 1-3 that work well for you. It definitely takes experimentation - first on macro level.

I really love all your videos, little do you know. These video's are how I'm trying to build or start my companies. Do you have a video on how to do projection growth sales or revenue when you have no um....um...no competition?

Thanks, not that specific, I have a video on numbers and tracking here: th-cam.com/video/AOXwX2t3pDY/w-d-xo.html

Great Stuff, really educational. What are your thoughts startups using TH-cam to share their company?

    • @RawStartup
      @RawStartup  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thanks, I think it is great idea. However, be aware that TH-cam can really give back, but it takes a lot of investment in time. On TH-cam I really believe in creating value, create great content that people want to watch. Don't pitch your product hard that doesn't work.

    Hi Heini,
Thanks for this video. I was wondernig which strategy you adopted at Vivino when you launched for the very first time. How did you get you product in front of your potential customers? Simply pushing the app to the app stores was not enough I believe.
    Thanks,
    Davide

#1 Use LinkedIn (or IG) rather than FB or Twitter. You'll get more engagement from the right people.
#2 Create lots of content and double down on what works. Speak like a human, use stories from real people, have fun in the way you write, tie into something people care about.
#3 Get customers to tell your story.
#4 Insert yourself into hot trending topics of conversations.
#5 Invest in as many friendships as you can.
