We sang this song to my brother as he passed away. My oldest brother, three sisters, dad and I can't hear this song without Spencer on our mind. He was a precious soul.
I play this song whenever I'm feeling in despair about life and the state of the world. It never fails to bring something to my eyes I had only experienced once or twice in my life before: tears of joy. I'd love to sing it, but each time I do, I get choked up with emotion...
This is such a fine band. JD is an amazing band leader, and has pulled together such a dedicated and professional team to bring out his ideas and enhance them with their own creative flair and dedication to crafting absolute sonic gold for the rest of us.
I discovered this song when I was in prayer for a friend who was terminally ill, a Tulsa musician. It spoke volumes and I sang the night he passed.. I pulled it off with a lot of soul searching...and prayer. It is very important to me.. one of my most favorite sentimental pieces. Thank you JD.
First time hearing JD was him opening for Robert Plant. It was at a beautiful outdoor venue in Santa Ana on a warm summer night. Fantastic memories and have been a huge fan ever since.
Golly gosh, a magnificent creation using cool twists slightly reminiscent of the Schmiths, john cash, and gospel, which all touches upon The Big Guy's precious gift of musical creativity to humans, ya' know?
Already checked out "Bossy", realy love that track as well, there's a real buzz about their music I hope they get the success that they truly deserve, fantastic band. There's a lot of influences in their music which makes it difficult to categorise them, great vocalist and musicians.
Heard about this band from friends in northern Spain. Went to the concert in Rochester NY Sept. 2015 (pregnant) and fell in love with this song. Now my 9 month old daughter won't go to bed without listening to it! It also calms her down in car rides! Thank you! God is good!
The twilight fades, it's a precious thing The even tide under lock and key It's so heavenly, heavenly right now "A Letter to Elise" playin' on repeat Playing songs of the minor key was my policy Policy but now What does it mean when your heart vibrates? I thought it was a bad sign I was living in a sadder time and now it's done passed on It's so precious Precious, precious to me It's so precious Precious, precious to me You don't know how I used to be The autumn leaves cascade through the window So quietly, then finally touch down The twilight fades, it's a precious thing The even tide under lock and key It's so heavenly, heavenly right now What does it mean when your blood vibrates? Hey "Our Vinyl" people. You gotta be kidding me--- you're not listening the credits for this amazing band? Who are these great players? It takes a team to make a song sound like this--- give it up for the whole band! Great song!
Heart strings Channeling my British oldies soul roots-even up until the 80s. When he hits “precious “ it’s Stevie. Knocked it our of the park , Fam ❤️🏴

❤DAYUM that is beautiful! I’m so envious of people with the talent to create music of this caliber.
Great song with a modern feel and with 50's undertone, great melody and good rhythm guitar.

The twilight fades, it's a precious thing
The even tide under lock and key
It's so heavenly, heavenly right now
"A Letter to Elise" playin' on repeat
Playing songs of the minor key was my policy
Policy but now
What does it mean when your heart vibrates?
I thought it was a bad sign
I was living in a sadder time and now it's done passed on
It's so precious
Precious, precious to me
It's so precious
Precious, precious to me
You don't know how I used to be
The autumn leaves cascade through the window
So quietly, then finally touch down
The twilight fades, it's a precious thing

My brother passed away last year and for some reason this song tugs just a little too hard at the heart strings. Made me tear up a little.
WOODFORD RSV and JD....Life is Heavnly right now.....
Had to come back to listen to this again, the opening riffs in the Pogues "Haunted" reminded me of this fine tune.
Love this voice
Came across this because I was looking for my last name on TH-cam! Beautiful voice, fantastic instrumentals! Glad I found this. Now I have to go listen to more of his songs.

Chills.
Who’s here from reservation dogs?
My everyday song
this song is up in pair with the old classics like Brenda Lee Sorry and others. or even better
👌😎
Substitute “stop” for “rest”? No, trust the Master on this one. Otherwise a perfect arrangement of one of Nick’s finest songs.
Me hearing this on Res Dogs, thinking it was sung by a 50'S Motown group...🤦♀️ Awesome song.
Free Cheese
Let me tell you something this guy has compacted into orchestra into an band
Jepp 👍😎
Great song! Free Cheese!
Reservation dogs is the reason I'm here!
Goodness me!
Is this a different lead singer?
"Free Cheese" - Reservation Dogs.. lol.
How Soon Is Now?
+Harry Rylott Sorry are you asking when we are going to post the next song from the session?
+OurVinyl I think he's saying the guitar reminds him of How Soon Is Now from The Smiths.
+amasterofnothing1 JD's made no secret of that.
Damn you, that's all I can hear now
+David Molyneux I would suspect that is part of JD's plan. :)
