Three hours from Tulum. Harriet and I enjoyed our time there as well. So underrated. Fam , you were spot on to visit. Great vlog as always, Love you Dearly ❤❤❤ Harriet, Jim and Yuki Richmond, Va.
Your content makes my days. Thank you for it. If I have money to use to travel, I would love to go to sooooo many places. 😊 😊 Claire, I would recommend using aqua shoes to walk on any harder surfaces.
Thanks for sharing this info & mentioning the Stromatolites. For anyone going to visit please avoid touching, climbing, or sitting on the Stromatolites, refrain from striking them with any object or jumping off them. Maintain a respectful distance to prevent any potential harm. They may look like rocks, but they are literally living fossils.
Awesome video guys and Bacalar looks insane!! I'm going there this May/June, am I able to bring/fly my drone there as a tourist? I see that you guys did, and looking online I found mixed info on this. Thank you very much ❤️
Hey! We didn’t have any issues with our drone in Mexico. We’ve heard they give some people trouble at the airport. We didn’t experience this though. Maybe just hope for the beeest🤞🏻
Hi guys. Can i ask how you found driving there and back and also in general around the yucutan peninsula? We are going in just over a week to holbox, Mujeres, playa del carmen and ending in tulum but have read so many things about driving over there and how corrupt it can be by being stopped by corrupt police or people acting to be police. Have you any advice? TIA 😊
We had no issues whatsoever driving around there!😊. The only issue we bumped into was the scam kiosk on the way from Playa Del Carmen to Chichen Itza but if you just ignore those people, you’ll be fine🙏🏻
@@RhettandClaire hi thanks for getting back to me. Ok, that's good to know, did you mainly drive just in the day or at night time too? Will deffo avoid scam people, I'm always wary about things like that anyway.
Crime? Wtf is on your mind… Bacalar, is a places where there aren’t even people Bacalar and el cielito en Cozumel son los mejores lugares que puedes visitar
the DEA cartels? ..yes the USA rung the drug business. El Chapo is DEA. Drug money goes to US banks. US weapons makes mad half a billion $$$ with Merida Initiate/Fast Furious. Mexico has never been as dangerous or violent as the USA, but Obama made Mexico more dangerous is specific area, which led to forced migration = cheap labor in USA, prisons for profitable migrant prisons, lowered property value in those area so USA companies could buy cheap, etc. .... and much much more. just google "Obama Genaro Luna"
Guys, you will be charged Gringo prices for admission periodically. Mexicans do pay less. There is discrimination, so one can expect to be charged more, subtlety and not so, for admissions to wherever actually.
@@RhettandClaire Yes, isn't it a shame when tourists get treated differently than the locals and natives? Actually, I think it might also be this way in South Africa, too. But, I will wait to hear it all from you.
I’m sure this deserves a debate, i’m not saying that im right, but you have to understand that the majority of Mexicans earn less than the typical foreign tourist.

how long did it take you to float down the river. I am planning a trip next month. Trying to see if we should plan a day trip or stay for the night
It's definitely worth staying over at least one night:) We did just do a day trip from Tulum, although it was a lot of driving it was still doable.
Which are your top 5 most loved countries? No need to rank them in order. Just randomly answer them❤
Hadir like pertama bang
Wowwwwbeautiful enjoy 👍👋👋👋🇲🇽
Hi! Nice video, I’m just wondering, could it be dangerous to do roadtrip from Tulum/Cancun to Bacalar?
Come on!!! Same traveling from LA to San Diego!!! so just do It!!!

We love to have you anytime in Mexico 🌟⭐✨💫💯
How deep is the "lazy river"? Are kids able to get in?
Claire could stand in certain places but most parts were deep. There were kids there though😊

Hi tried to check out website for the car rental but when i tried to see how much it would be it takes to whatsup App. Did it do the same for you?
We contacted them on instagram and then we did talk on WhatsApp yes. It’s perfectly okay 😃
@@RhettandClaire thank you
How did you get a taxi from tulum to bacalar?
We rented our own car😊
There are cocodrilos in the lagoon
How safe is Bacalar? (How much should I be worried about crime there?) Is Bacalar as safe as Merida?
You don’t have to worry at all! We didn’t feel unsafe once🙏🏻

Is it safe from the cartel?
No!! Don't you even think coming to Mexico!! Stay away!! Your presence is not necessary!! Thank you!! 🙂
For sure
What a ridiculous question?! Is the USA SAFE?! NO!!!

Absolutely, and we totally understand🙏🏻. It’s just that a year before that, our gringo friends paid $9 entrance, not 500 pesos🙈
