Lol, it is unusual for Little Mac to pass these recovery tests and not Peach, however, this is a vertical recovery not horizontal, and since Little Mac is a good wall jumper, he will make it back on stage.
Doc can also make it back on stage even without slo-mo, although it's kind of difficult and it requires Bowser to be closer to the wall. Don't burn your double jump yet before attempting to recover. Drift back towards the wall --> wall jump --> B-reversed Doctor Tornado --> jump a.s.a.p --> wall jump again (Doc Tornado refreshes wall jump) --> Up B.

It's funny as it is life-saving to recover like this, watch your opponent's reaction, and then see them kick themselves for dropping an edgeguard. This is known as the Wall Cling recovery, it's when you jump and wall jump while wall clinging from the same wall, this recovery doesn't work with Greninja, because it has the worst wall jumps in the game. And thanks anyway. 😄
