- I clean the barn every day for hygiene and health purposes. Horses are similar to cows; they poop a lot! When we get the stalls built, the horses will be out during the day and "up" at night! Unless it's bad weather.

I used to help our friend in Montana Clean out her barn from her horses.. I didn't mind it. It was fun to be able to hang out with the horses. It looks cold by you! We are below 0 here in Wisconsin where we are living now.

Who would have ever thought that slinging hay and cleaning poo and pee could be so much fun!!?? Good job getting it done! It's a game to them!! I don't have a way to keep them out of the barn. They have not had a shelter in 2-1/2 years so she's loving the cover!!
